🎸SÖKER EN SOLOGITARRIST!🎸

Livet för ett band är dynamisk & i ständig utveckling & nu har vår nuvarande sologitarrist (tyvärr) valt att kliva av pga personliga skäl & DU kan nu vara precis den vi behöver.

Vi är C.K.O, ett etablerat & ambitiöst band med utgångspunkt i Södra Sverige men med medlemmar från olika delar av Sverige.
Vi har alla mångårig erfarenhet av att spela musik, både live och i studiomiljö, och vi investerar tid, energi och resurser för att ta bandet framåt.
Bandet har släppt två plattor & har mycket material till en ny som vi nu ska börja spela in. Vi har bokade festivalspelningar under 2026 och fått förfrågningar på spelningar & kommer boka på med spelningar när vi hittat Dig & Du är inkörd!

Musikstil: Hårdrock / Heavy Metal med stadiga rötter i 70- och 80-talet. Tyngd och melodi är vägledande för oss och det är bara eget material

• Är du en driven solo- och kompgitarrist, behärskar ditt instrument & känner dig bekväm med, & har gedigen erfarenhet av att stå på scen med scennärvaro
• Har du möjlighet att åka till Ängelholm & då kommer väl förberedda till rep när de planeras?
• Har du möjlighet och är redo att åka iväg och spela både i Sverige och utomlands?

Bra är också om du kan lägga stämmor, vill bidra till låtskrivandet & att fixa spelningar då vi tillsammans arbetar aktivt för att boka spelningar för att synas på fler scener.

CANCERSLUG

For 26 years
Hundreds of songs
Numerous albums
(who even knows how many anymore)
So many shows I can’t remember
Dozens of band members
And still moving forward

Cancerslug was never a normal band
Over the years me and various friends got together and put out demos (sometimes with a band , sometimes just me haha)
If someone could play on an album they did
If someone could do a tour they did
We toured as a 3 piece , a 4 piece , a 5 piece
We even did a show as a 6 piece once

Some of the old gang moved on to other things
Some passed on
Some still show up now and then
Craig who I started the band with , still pops in here and there for an album or show

But even after all these years , and all these people and shows, I still love CANCERSLUG in its many forms and styles it takes

It is time for a new metamorphosis in the band
So im going to take some time off to focus on making sure that the next phase of the band is the greatest one yet

The next album I’ve written is very special
So
I want to spend a lot of time getting everything just right for this one. It’s been a while since Cancerslug did a big studio album , and I think this new record deserves to be one. Im not gonna settle for anything less than the best cs album yet
And making sure I have the best group to record and tour it.

It will take however long it takes
In the meantime
Thank you to all the SLUGCULT who stayed true
After all these years
The ones I can still trust and depend on
I will always maintain the integrity of Cancerslug
And keep it real

Our Story

English below. Nu är ju tiden med nya rock n metal program i närradion slt i gamla formen. Det ser inte ut som jag kommer kunna köra vidare på närradion om den ens blir kvar men ger inte upp för fem öre. Rock n Metal Chef aka Oscar Fahst kommer fortsätta söka platser där jag kan sända mina program, och det kan vara varsomhelst runt globen och nya typer av program. Har egen studio i hemmet så kan både sända live och spela in program så dom kan sändas där dom önskas. Har ni tips dela gärna med er till mig eller säg till radiostation etc om ni tror det skulle passa. Har alla intentioner att vilja fortsätta spela musik men även intervjuer mm och gärna en skön blandning av mindre bekanta artister kryddat med mer etablerade. Under tiden så fortsätter jag med mina studier, har nu tid att ändra min hemsida (låter gamla vara uppe lite till för programmens skull) och tänka på strategi för en podcast/intervju serie. Så det är bara starten på något nytt och när pandemin lättar så kommer man vara fullt redo kommer dock inte vänta till dess för det ska hända saker, det kan jag lova.

Now the time with new rock n metal radio shows in local radio is over in the old form. It does not look like I will be able to continue driving on the local radio if it even stays but does not give up for one bit.

Rock n Metal Chef aka Oscar Fahst will continue to look for places where I can broadcast my radio shows, and it can be anywhere around the globe and new types of programs. If you have your own studio at home, you can both broadcast live and record programs so they can be broadcast where they want. Do you have any tips, feel free to share with me or tell the radio station etc if you think it would be suitable.
