From touring in Europe with his metalcore band to a desk job at Rexius Records. Adam has always been looking for new challenges and new hobbies, but music has always stuck with him. He’s got a solid music educational foundation, but his interest and passion for music have taken him much longer, into many countries.

Our tall, kind-hearted project manager has a background in Cultural Studies from the University of Gothenburg. Anton is also a music writer and a guitarist with top-notch fashion choices at Day Felice. A former ice hockey sensation, he is a natural team player who oversees the development of our artists and keeps all of our projects rolling.

Educated at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, his years as a death metal guitarist and producer made him aware of the hard conditions for independent artists in the industry. With a strong will to level the playing field for new and upcoming artists, he started Rexius Records in his old, tiny apartment in Gothenburg. The rest is history!

Today, 9 years ago, Rexius Records was founded with two bare hands, without any resources, in a time when streaming services were still in their infancy, CDs were still printed and Piracy was mainstream. 💿 Since then we have released over 500 songs with over 200 artists from 20 different countries. This makes us one of Sweden's largest independent music companies.

We have explored a lot, made mistakes, and learned from some of them. We can safely say that the current Rexius Records version is the best so far and hope we can continue amplifying upcoming artists in many years ahead. Thank you for joining us on our journey! 🎉

Musicians can have different creative routines. Some people have produced/written their best songs while everyone was sleeping, while others don't have a brain after 5 pm. Others have a special diet, like the French composer Erik Satie. He only ate white foods during certain creative periods!

Swedish indie pop band King of Little Sweden returns with “Rollercoaster”, a song about love’s mixture of uncertainty and happiness. This is one of the most danceable tracks so far, drawing inspiration from artists such as KIIRA and Modern Culture. The song's original version was born in the band's studio, a cabin on top of the snowy mountains of Verbier (Switzerland). It was written as a collective collaboration after returning from a skiing session together.

Norwegian pop artist Christine Ekeberg returns with “Beautiful Mess”, an acoustic song of self-acceptance. With a minimalistic piano accompaniment and Ekeberg’s expressive vocal performance, the track reminds of Adele’s new tendency towards subtle nuances in a song like “Easy On Me”.

“Gå på” / “Walk On” by Lina Melander. Rootsy americana pop hailing from the vast plains of the north to the rocky landscapes of the west. The Gothenburg-based artist found her genuine and personal expression in the city of Sollefteå, where she was born and raised. The northern melancholy she adopted shines through in the double single “Gå på” / “Walk On”, where it is thoroughly sewed together with the sound of the modern Swedish pop wonder.

Lina Melander, the Gothenburg-based artist who found her genuine and personal expression in the Swedish north. Born and raised in the city of Sollefteå she adopted the melancholy of the whistling forest and the open landscapes which she now has thoroughly sewed together with the sound of the modern Swedish pop wonder.

Leen came to Sweden at the age of 18, leaving her family behind in war-torn Syria. This is the first song she wrote fully on her own, produced by Olivia Lundberg and Jonathan Thorpenberg (frontman of The Unguided). Leen sings as an archetypal wronged woman with a touch of Middle-Eastern vocal technique. We hear echoes of Leen’s perspective from growing up as a woman in Syria. But there’s universality in the song’s anger.

Building up to their upcoming album, Iranian metal band Confess releases “Ransom Note”. With the sound of strength in the face of oppression, the track transports us to frontman Nikan Khosravi's distressful exile days in Turkey. It features some of the most prominent death metal sounds of the album, mastered by Grammy-nominated producer Machine (Lamb of God, Su***de Silence, Miss May I, and many others).
