Our Story

In August 2012 Ken Berglund and Henrik Marzelius bought a studio from the band In Flames (IF Studios). November 2016 the location unfortunately had to change because the contractors tragically decided to make offices out of the renowned studio from the 1980’s. After protests the studio was re-built. Today Swedish Sound Studio has 4 production rooms and a small ISO recording room in a very central location by Vasaplatsen in Gothenburg, Sweden. There are music producers and engineers sitting in the production rooms daily, working with music production, tracks, recording, mixing and mastering. We work with signed artists, unsigned artists, sound for advertisement and song pitching to publishers and record labels. Before Swedish Sound, Henrik Marzelius owned Studio 19 where Ken Berglund also worked as a sound engineer.
