Forgive my camera 😂😉, for days now I've been craving bush meat, I wanted it like my life depended on it and couldn't find it, today I shared my craving problem with a friend and she called someone who directed us to where we could get grass cutter, ok we got there and they said this part is the only remaining part, I asked how much? he said said 2500, like bush meat de for 2500? The meat Waka come meet you for house? Ok tie for me but no pieces am😂 in my head I was remembering ikpa road dust bin and the matured rats there😂😂😂 God this one wey e cheap like this make e no be wetin I think ooooo, I brought it home and made the kind of noodles I craved but to eat now ehhhh I can't get that ikpa road rats off my mind😂😂😂😂😂abeg encourage me to eat, convince me abeg make I chop this night sleep time don de go😂😂😂😂

Your 3years old son gets angry whenever you give him a food he doesn't want and throws it on you, you laugh and say "😃😃 children ehh"

Baby boy will lift his hands and slap you when he wants you to drop him... All you'd say is "you're beating mummy 😃"

No other child in that area messes with him... And you're calling him "A no- nonsense boy"

He picks up things from the ground and hits people whenever he's stopped from doing something... You smile and call him "action boy😃🤾🏿‍♂️🤸🏽‍♂️"

You expose him to all manner of violence and say "He's a man, man suppose get mind"

Few years down the line the teenage boy bullies his sisters, commands them around, shares slaps as souvenirs to anyone that dares to challenge him. You call him "man of the house"😃

He grew up having his way all through. Now he's a full grown man in the society. And it's not funny anymore

Abusive husbands didn't fall from the sky, someone raised a boy wrongly.

It's easier to train a son than to correct a husband.
We could address a lot from the root.

While we cannot control the words or actions of others, we have the power to decide how we respond; to see them as a challenge or to dwell on the pain.

Instead of letting hurtful words bring you down rather use them as fuel to make you better; I know this is not easy sometimes and so when people say things that hurt, it's quite easy to get stuck in the pain.

But if and only if we can see it as a challenge, it will help us grow. Don't waste your time dwelling on the hurt rather use it as motivation to become the best you can be.

Life indeed is a constant learning experience.
You will look back after a while and trust me it will be worth it.

The first picture is of olive oil, derived from pressing olives and categorised as a vegetable oil. It is used in cooking and as a dressing for salads due to its richness in unsaturated fatty acids.

The second image shows red oil, also used for cooking.

Is there any additional purpose for both of them at home aside from cooking?

As olive oil was brought to a friend of mine from Nigeria, I asked him why he didn't buy it from a store here, as that is where I buy the ones I use for cooking.

He said that this one is special; it is blessed by his pastor, and he will be using it for prayer. I told him to keep it safe because I will soon use it to fry eggs or cook. I also asked him if olive oil becomes anointing oil through blessings from his pastor, why doesn't his pastor bless our red oil to turn it into anointed oil? At least it would boost the demand for our red oil.
