Euro-Trance will premiere this Sunday (17/9) at cinema Aftonstjärnan 14:00. Me and Mikael Enqvist will be present to say a few words. There is another screening at 19:30 as well. The documentary is included in a program showing documentaries from 4 different directors as part of GIBCA extended, Gothenburg International Biennial for Contemporary Art.

BA007: Stig Steijner

BA007 is a collaboration with artist Stig Steijner and writer Giulia Crispiani. Steijner graduated in Fine Arts from Gothenburgs Valand Academy in 2019, having previously studied at the Gerrit Rietvild Academy, Amsterdam and Gothenburg School of Arts. Stig Steijners paintings combine a multitude of materials and techniques, exploring the movement and rhythm of shapes and colours bouncing off the rigid frames of paper, canvas or whatever material he decides to work on. His works remind us of abstract photography, cave paintings and aimless nightlife. Giula Crispiani is a visual artist and writer based in Rome, where she is an editor for NERO Editions.

BA003: Inte Alla Grafiker

Den 28 februari 1986 på Sveavägen i Stockholm mördades Sveriges statsminister Olof Palme. Nu har chefsåklagare Krister Petersson pekat ut Stig Engström som huvudmisstänkt. Stig Engström, även känd som “Skandiamannen”, var utbildad grafiker och arbetade som reklamkonsult på Skandia då Palme mördades. Vi ville bara säga att vi som grafiker tar avstånd från mordet på Olof Palme. Vi har pratat med andra grafiker om hur vi ska arbeta för att något sådant här inte händer igen. Det är väldigt tråkigt att en grafiker skjuter Sveriges statsminister men man får komma ihåg att alla gör misstag och att en grafiker inte representerar alla grafiker. Om du håller med och också vill ta avstånd från mordet på Olof Palme genom att beställa ditt exemplar av BA003 så kan du kontakta oss via [email protected] så återkommer vi snarast. Limiterad till 300 ex.
