Lamour run club nights and a record label within a broad scope of electronic music culture. Expanding expressions within dance related electronica, poppy electro, dark ambient, contemporary art music, improvised live-electronic music and electroacoustic music. The club is run by Slim Vic and Thomas Bjelkeborn, and the Label is run by Slim Vic. In 2011 activities moved to Fylkingen in Stockholm and

since then the main purpose is promoting a broad span of electronic culture. Slim Vic have joined forces with curator/musician/composer Thomas Bjelkeborn to ensure a limitless, vivid, relaxed and international feel to the club. UPDATE: since november 2013 the club has a another venue for regular events at Café Foajé (Spegeln) Gävle. The label publish various forms of electronic music on vinyl, CD and as digital downloads. There is no definitive answer to what the label will produce as the electronic music world and the taste of the curators are constantly changing. Many of the associated artists can be found as podcasts on soundcloud though this FB page. Lamour was formed in 2008 by DJ Slim Vic as a club for new and upcoming electronica artists and DJ's.

Using the organ as the main instrument combined with field recordings, loop-pedals, synthesizer, and voice Louise Ölund creates diverse soundscapes where darkness and light coexist. The creative process is often about finding the balance between control and chaos, and through that create non-linear soundscapes that move between art music and electroacoustic compositions.

Lamour warm-up at Nonagonfestival
Join us on Thursday evening, July 25, between 19-23 as we kick off this year's Nonagon festival at the docks of Svanö.
Get festival-ready with a swim in the clear water or enjoy the soothing warmth of the wood-fired sauna and hot tub. We´ll also fire up the barbeque and serve hot dogs. Play some volleyball or boule, or just come and hang out.

Join Lamour and RättBuss to the Nonagonfestival, Sweden's most wonderful festival for audiovisual and experimental music and art, in the oil tanks on Svanö outside Kramfors.

The success from 2023 is repeated! Make the trip part of the festival experience together with Northern Europe's best culture bus driven by Northern Europe's nicest bus driver. The most beautiful pre-party of the summer starts at Cityterminalen in Stockholm with stops along E4an's most beautiful destinations.
On board the bus, fellowship, festivities and music are offered. Of course, we also have a bar and WC on board. DJ AKB and Slim Vic set the mood and mindset with the turntables during the journey. DJ Quiz – the local success from Gävle – naturally makes an impact shortly after Tönnebro. There is also room for travelers to contribute to the program on board. Maybe you want to offer activities such as stand-up, bookkeeping help or relationship advice. Notify the crew before the trip.
We arrange this trip together with Nonagon to be a flexible and enjoyable alternative to SJ's booking system.

Rhythm as texture, texture as rhythm… the foggy and lo-fi dub created by Llarks is messy and unruly, languorous and loping. The deliberate repetition reveals subtle changes as the song-form disintegrates and reassembles itself.

*** January 17th - Oort Cloud Services – Lufthavet *** Oort Cloud Services is jumping restlessly between melodic ambient, upbeat synthpop and… whatever you call a messy mishmash of busy dnb, glitch, chip and whatever else unlucky enough to be within reach. This track however, stays firmly in the first category. “Some years ago I was on an aeroplane before departure. I was listening to the engine sounds in the cabin and had this whole noise ambient experience. As you do when you listen to noise ambient, I started hearing distinct tones in that drone. A chord emerged that was a perfect starting point for an ambient track, I thought. The phone recording of this makes up the intro and outro of this track. This was one of several ideas that evolved separately and then eventually merged into one. All these ideas circled around the concept of air and sea – the majestic oceans and the vast expanse of the atmosphere. It was when I put my phone camera against the plane window during another flight last spring, and caught our ascending through the clouds, and then also an amazing view of the open sea, that everything fell into place in my mind. It recently solidified even more as I heard the use of the word “lufthavet” in a Swedish weather forecast, which would translate into “the sea of air”. Not only is it a poetic word for the atmosphere, it’s also a very descriptive term. Just like the actual oceans of water, this global ocean of air is in constant motion with currents, vortexes, waves and ripples. Every title I had come up with before that went straight out the window!
