Ficus Microcarpa Bonsai Update

Dear Friends,

I am writing to provide an update on the Ficus microcarpa bonsai that I have been working on. Today, I finally completed the first step in its transformation by applying wire to the tree.

The Ficus microcarpa is a challenging tree to work with, but I am confident that I can create something beautiful with it. I am particularly drawn to the structure of the tree, especially the aerial roots.

I look forward to sharing the progress of this bonsai with you as it continues its journey.

Most of the wire is of.. some scars but not too deep.
Holding its shape relatively well 👍

Replanted to make the stone under a little bit more visible.

Scars healed very good under the aluminum.

Thinking about pushing the twists in the trunk more together.

Murraya - Orange jasmine
A good friend gave me this a few weeks ago and it has started to bloom.
I can honestly say... It smells like Heaven ❤️ I am in love ❤️
It's really a mix of Citrus flowers and Jasmine.
