”من السودان للارجنتين“ قصة عالم الآثار المُلهم ”أبراهام روزنفاسر“ ورحلته الضارية في التنقيب وحفظ الآثار في السودان بمنطقة النوبة جنوب السد ستينيات القرن الماضي، الفلم من إخراج ريكاردو بريفي وإنتاج مشترك لسودان فلم فاكتوري - يشارك في مهرجان الإسماعيلية الدولي للأفلام التسجيلية والقصيرة ضمن المسابقة الرسمية. يعرض الفلم يوم الجمعة الساعة 12:30 بعد منتصف الظهيرة.

Exciting news! "From Sudan to Argentina" by Ricardo Preve and Sudan Film Factory is officially selected for the short documentary film competition in the 24th edition of the Ismailia International Film Festival. The film tells the inspiring story of Dr. Abraham Rosenvasser and his team's efforts to save a cultural treasure from being lost forever. The artifacts they uncovered are now on display in museums in Khartoum and Argentina. Catch "From Sudan to Argentina" on Friday at 12:30 pm!

‎مع إبراهيم شداد وأفلامه.

‎تدعوكم سودان فلم فاكتوري بالتعاون مع جماعة الفلم السوداني للأمسية الثالثة من سلسلة عروض (زيارة الى سينما الطليعة)، للقاء المخرج السوداني إبراهيم شداد وحضور مجموعة من أفلامه (رحلة صيد، جمل، الحبل، وإنسان).
‎مساء السبت 24 ديسمبر 2022 / الساعة السابعة، بمقر سودان فلم فاكتوري.

‎عن المخرج وأفلامه:
‎إبراهيم شداد، من مواليد حلفا، درس في المعهد العالي الألماني للفن السينمائي في بوتسدام - بابلسبيرغ. ألف وأخرج العديد من الأفلام وبعض المسرحيات، وهو عضو مؤسس لجماعة الفلم السوداني.

‎رحلة صيد | 41 دقيقة | إنتاج: 1964.
‎رحلة صيد هو فلم تخرج إبراهيم شداد. إستعان فيه بنموذج أفلام الغرب (الويسترن)، ونقله الى الطبيعة الألمانية (غابة في براندنبورغ) بهدف تسليط الضوء على العنف القاتل والمشاركة اليومية في العنصرية، بأسلوب يتجاوز حدود القومية.

‎جمل | 14 دقيقة | إنتاج: 1981.
‎ قصة حياة جمل تدور معظمها في غرفة صغيرة مهجورة في معصرة سمسم. يدور الجمل معصوب العينين، يجبره صاحبه على القيام بذلك. يُسمح له باستراحة قصيرة في الفناء قبل أن يُرغم مجدداً على العمل في الغرفة المظلمة التي لا ترى الشمس.

‎الحبل | 32 دقيقة | إنتاج: 1985.
‎رجلان مكفوفان يشقان طريقهما عبر الصحراء برفقة حمار من خلال حبل يربط الرجلين ببعضهما، يختار الرجلان الطريق التي سيسلكانها تارة، وتارة أخرى يقودهما الحمار عبر الصحراء.

‎إنسان | 28 دقيقة | إنتاج: 1994.
‎الفلم يمازج عناصر فرار راعي بقر من الرمضاء الي النار.

Sudan Film Factory, in collaboration with the Sudanese Film Group, invites you for the third night of (A VANGUARD RETROSPECTIVE) nights. To meet with Sudanese director Ibrahim Shadad, and attend a screening of a group of his films (JAGDPARTIE, A CAMEL,THE ROPE, INSAN).
Friday, December 23, 2022.
7:00 PM at Sudan Film Factory venue.

🔹Location: Amarat, intersection of 27 street and King Abdulaziz street.

About the Director and his films:
Born in Halfa, he studied at the German Academy of Film Art (Deutsche Hot schule für Filmkunst, DHFI. He has written and directed many films and some plays. He is a founding member of the Sudanese Film Group.

JAGDPARTIE | 41 Minutes, 1964.
AGDPARTIE is Ibrahim Shaddad's graduation film. It uses the format of the Western, which he transposes into a German landscape “a forest in Brandenburg” for a transnational investigation of both the murderous violence of the everyday complicity in racism.

A CAMEL | 14 Minutes, 1981.
Blindfolded, the camel runs in circles, driven to do so by its owner. For a short while it is allowed to relax in the courtyard before it reluctantly returns to its work in the dark room without any sunlight.

THE ROPE | 32 Minutes, 1985.
Two blind men are making their way through the desert accompanied by a donkey. Connected by a rope, sometimes the two men decide where to go, and sometimes the donkey dictates the way.

INSAN | 28 Minutes, 1994.
The film fuses elements of a flight of a cattleman from destitution to hell.

The screenings will be followed by a discussion session in the presence of the film director, moderated by Rashid Mustafa Bakhit.

زيارة الى سينما الطليعة | الأمسية الثانية.
مع سليمان محمد إبراهيم وأفلامه.

تدعوكم سودان فلم فاكتوري بالتعاون مع جماعة الفلم السوداني للأمسية الثانية من سلسلة عروض (زيارة الى سينما الطليعة)، للقاء المخرج السوداني سليمان محمد إبراهيم، وحضور فلمين من أعماله (افريقيا، الغابة، الطبل والثورة)و (ولكن الأرض تدور).
مساء الجمعة 23 ديسمبر 2022 / الساعة السابعة، بمقر سودان فلم فاكتوري.

عن المخرج وأفلامه:
سليمان محمد إبراهيم مخرج وكاتب سوداني، درس الفلكلور والدراسات الأفريقية والآسيوية بجامعة الخرطوم، درس ايضا السينما في موسكو بمعهد غيراسيموف للسينما، هو عضو مؤسس لجماعة الفلم السوداني وعضو هيئة تحرير مجلة السينما.

أفريقيا الغابة، الطبل والثورة | 11 دقيقة | إنتاج: 1977.

يتناول الفلم صورة افريقيا في المجتمع السوفيتي والقوالب النمطية المتعلقة بتلك الصورة، وذلك من خلال التطرق الى رسومات الأطفال المتعلقة بافريقيا، والمقابلات مع سكان موسكو، والمواد الأرشيفية المتوفرة في الأرشيف السوفيتي عن افريقيا.

ولكن الأرض تدور | 19 دقيقة | إنتاج: 1978.

يصور فلم التخرج لسليمان الحياة اليومية في مديرية في المحافظة الخامسة في اليمن في تلك الفترة، يجري التعامل بين التلاميذ والمعلمين بلا شكليات أو رسميات، ويمارس الجميع مبدأ النقد والنقد الذاتي، بالاضافة الى إعطاء أولوية خاصة لتعليم الفتيات.

About the Director and his films:
Suliman Mohammed Ibrahim is a Sudanese filmmaker and writer. He studied Folklore at the Institute of Cinematography in Moscow, Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography, VGIK. He is a founding member of the Sudanese Film Group and a member of the editorial board of the Cinema magazine.

AFRICA, THE JUNGLE, DRUMS, AND REVOLUTION | 11 Minutes, 1977.

The film examines representations of Africa in Soviet society, children's drawings that deal with Africa, interviews with inhabitants of Moscow, and archival material depicting Africa from Soviet archives broach the issue of those representations and the stereotypes connected to them.

IT STILL ROTATES | 19 Minutes, 1978.

Suliman’s graduation film depicts everyday life at the time in a school in the fifth province of Yemen. There are no formalities, and no boundaries between students and teachers, criticism and self-criticism are important means of communication and the support of girls' education is of high significance.

The screenings will be followed by a discussion session in the presence of the film director, moderated by Rashid Mustafa Bakhit.

🔹أفلام الطيب مهدي
تدعوكم سودان فلم فاكتوري بالتعاون مع جماعة الفلم السوداني للأمسية الافتتاحية لسلسلة عروض (زيارة الى سينما الطليعة)، للقاء المخرج السوداني الطيب مهدي وحضور مجموعة مختارة من أفلامه (الضريح / أربع مرات للاطفال / المحطة)، وذلك مساء الخميس 22 ديسمبر 2022 في تمام الساعة السابعة مساءً، بسودان فلم فاكتوري.

عن المخرج وأفلامه:
الطيب مهدي، من مواليد أمدرمان وخريجي المعهد العالي للسينما بالقاهرة وعضو مؤسس بجماعة الفلم السوداني. حاز على عدة جوائز وتقديرات عن عروض أفلامه حول العالم. له العديد من الكتابات بالصحف والمجلات حول السينما ويعمل حاليًا على إنجاز فلمه "السراج والعتمة"

الضريح | 17 دقيقة
حول قبر مزعوم لأحد أولياء الله الصالحين، يتوافد إليه الناس من كل مكان طلباً للشفاء، تدور حكاية الضريح، الفلم الذي أخرجه الطيب مهدي ويشارك في بطولته السر قدور يشير إلى تكلفة بعض الاعتقادات وآثارها في ظل الإيمان المطلق بالقدرات الخارقة.

أربع مرات للأطفال | 21 دقيقة
في عمل باعث للتأمل تدور كاميرا الطيب لتلتقط ملامح من الحياة اليومية في بعض مرافق ومدارس الأطفال ذوي الإعاقات الجسدية أو العقلية. نصاحب الأطفال في حصص للفنون الجميلة ونرقب نحت أياديهم على الخشب، بالإضافة الى جلسات العلاج الطبيعي وكيف يتعلمون إستخدام أدوات المشي..

المحطة | 16 دقيقة
على مفترق الطرق يلتقون: عابرين، راجلين وراكبين في محطة تتماهى فيها سُبُل الحياة القديمة بألوان من الحداثة وصنوف رأس المال. عمل يطرح الطيب مهدي فيه العديد من الأسئلة في فلم آسر وشديد الجمال.

To meet with Sudanese director Al-Tayeb Mahdi and attend a screening of a group of his films (THE TOMB, FOUR TIMES FOR CHILDREN, AND THE STATION), on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at 7:00 PM, Sudan Film Factory.

About the Director and his films:

Eltayeb Mahdi, born in Omdurman, studied at the Higher Institute of Cinema in Cairo and He is a founding member of the Sudanese Film Group. Eltayeb Mahdi, the multi-award-winning filmmaker and the author of numerous articles on cinema for major Sudanese newspapers, is currently working on the feature film AlSiraj wal-attama (The Lantern and Darkness)

THE TOMB | 17 Min
The story of the tomb revolves around an alleged tomb of one of the righteous saints of God, to whom people flock from everywhere seeking healing. The film directed by Al-Tayeb Mahdi and co-starring Al-Sir Gaddour indicates the cost of some beliefs and their effects in light of the absolute belief in supernatural abilities.

FOUR TIMES FOR CHILDREN | 21 MIN
In a contemplative work, Al-Tayeb's camera rotates to capture features of daily life in some facilities and schools for children with physical or mental disabilities. We accompany children in fine arts classes and watch their hand carving on wood, in addition to physical therapy sessions and how they learn to use walking tools.

THE STATION | 16 MIN
At the crossroads, they meet passers-by, pedestrians, and riders at a station where the old ways of life blend with the colours of modernity and the types of capital. A work in which Tayeb Mahdi raises many questions in a captivating and very beautiful film.

A vanguard Retrospective

Sudan Film Factory, in cooperation with the Sudanese Film Group, invites you to attend “A Vanguard Retrospective” nights. Three cinema nights, in which films by Sudanese directors Ibrahim Shaddad, Suleiman Muhammad Ibrahim, and Al-Tayeb Mahdi will be screened. Followed by a discussion moderated by Rashid Mustafa Bakhit.

The screening will be held on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of December 2022, at Sudan Film Factory, starts at 7:00 PM.

Free entry, seats on a first come first serve basis.
