Thinking about diving back into the Social Media Marketing game. It's been a while – had to hit pause due to eye troubles. Loved what I was doing, but health got in the way, making me contemplate throwing in the towel.

🥳 Reels are the most popular content format across both Facebook and Instagram. 📱 Make sure you’re tapping into the power of short form video with these 7 creative elements: 👇🏻

1. Awesome audio. Always make sure to add music and/or voice-over or even sound FX in sync with your video. Did you know? 80% of Reels are viewed with sound ON!

2. Real humans. Use people in your Reels such as yourself, or customers, creators, employees, partners, etc.

3. Go for lo-fi. Your Reels don’t have to be tv-studio quality. It’s okay to have imperfections. Try crowdsourcing with UGC, too.

4. Filters are fun. Test adding your fave filter, green screen or effects.

5. Hook ‘em. Make sure you use the first *two* seconds to capture attention.

6. Add text. Label, highlight and amplify your story using text sticker overlays.
