Travel to Duff Islands on the 10th of March 2023 to help and Assist the PDOC team here in Lata. The disaster caused by the tropical cyclone Judith and Kevin really affected the people of Duff Islands, they will soon to experience food shortage in the coming weeks since most of their root crops such as cassava is blown down by the strong wind, kumara submerged under the water which create water logging causing the tubes to rot away. Due to continues rain flooding occurs which also destroys most of their water sources. Their banana plants are also destroyed by the strong wind, they also experienced high swells which was inland that carries salt inland that killed most of their swamp taros. their fruit trees like bread fruit is also affected the cyclone injured the unripe bread fruits causing it fall. Their slippery cabbage pitch is also destroyed, especially the for the students of Tetoli CHS. This is very serious and they need help.
