As an OFW, family emergencies are something we try to stay away from - we don’t want to hear this kind of news. Some of us don’t have the luxury to be with them as soon as this happens. I hope that you will not be disheartened because God is always with you & your family. If you’re able to be with them right away, I hope that you will not forget to thank the Lord for making things happen so you could be with them. Laban lang! 🤍

Just a piece of advice for younger generation:

If you can, travel. Explore. Leave your hometown. Go somewhere far away. Live or find a job in another country for a while. Discover how other people live and how different it is from what you know. Different places will bring out different versions of you. Go and see what’s out there. The self-discovery that comes from leaving can change your entire life. I know it’s scary, I was scared too.. but I did it anyway and you can too. My whole perspective in life changed the moment I stepped out of my comfort zone. And you won’t regret it, I promise.

If it works for you, good. If it doesn’t, well, atleast you tried. 😊
