Hon' ble Chairperson District Development Council Poonch Mrs Tazeem Akhter met with Honourable LG Manoj Sinha Sahab at Raj Bhawan Jammu and discussed key Issues in regard to District Poonch.

Mrs Tazeem urged LG sahab Sanction of Religious and scenic Tourism project submitted by PDA in the office of concerned department for the development of Tourism Industry in Poonch

Issues pertaining to Health Infrastructure , Women College for District Poonch, Protection of flood prone areas,Technical Education Infrastructure were also taken up by the Mrs Tazeem to LG Manoj Sinha sahab.

Sanction for the establishment of Trauma Centre at Poonch

Sanction for the establishment of work shop for Jal Shakti Department

Upgradation of Sports Stadium as per the demand of poonch youth is necessary, kindly direct the Sports department for the installation of flood lights at Sports Stadium Poonch

Construction of Ring road from Police Line to Betar Nallah via SK Bridge connecting trade centre Chakka -Da - Bagh Poonch need to be consider and sanction on priority basis.

DDC chairperson believes large number of posts in different departments especially Health, RDD, PHE , PDD are lying vacant in poonch district causing very slow implementation of various flagship programmes of government. In this concern kindly direct the concerns for filling up of vacant posts

Mughal Road Tunnel is long pending demand ,A Genuine demand Hence govt should intervene into this matter and resolved it at the earliest.

Maam also discussed about the daily wagers Issues of Jal Shakti / (PHE ), PDD /JKPDCL , PWD(R&B ) Education departments and requested LG Manoj Sinha Sir to form requisite committees and take up matter so as Justice can be served to the deserving employees.

LG Manoj Sinha after took cognizance of the matters as discussed with Mrs Tazeem Akhtar assured for expeditious approach so as to solve the above stated matters in due time.
