𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐳𝐨 : Kipute cha kuwatafuta mabingwa wa tasnia mbalimbali za michezo kupitia kombe la Gavana Barasa kimekamilika leo katika maeneo bunge ya Shinyalu na Lurambi mtawalia. Hii ni baada ya michuano kwenye maeneo bunge yote 12 kuandaa mechi hizo za kukata na shoka mwishoni mwa wiki jana.

Kipute hiki chenye maudhui, "kutambua na kukuza vipaji" kimeshirikisha timu mbalimbali kutoka gatuzi la Kakamega.

Washindi kwenye mechi hizi kwenye ngazi za maeneo bunge watakutana kwenye ngazi za kaunti. Michezo hiyo itachezwa kwenye uga wa kimataifa wa Bukhungu jijini Kakamega.

Washindi wa ngazi ya kaunti watajizolea jumla ya shilingi milioni 2.

Fainali zitafanyika mnamo tarehe mosi, januari hapo mwakani.

Back then I sneaked into a girlfriend in my village shack without anyone's knowledge. I can vividly remember it was a midnight operation. All I wanted was to ensure that all village corncrakes and nightjars were deeply married to heavy sleeps.

Naturally I was shy and without proof of doubt, a very innocent little boy. Sometimes when a soul wants food of the body it becomes even harder to control. This pesters the innocents to plunge into a peculiar world of actions.

My belle hailed from a nearby village, infact our two villages were separated by a small river Lunyinya some refer to it as River Omukhunya whereas others refer to it as River Oluchenda; her home was just on the other edge of my Papa's home.

We used to make secret meetings especially in bushes etc. Just like me my girl was extremely shy.

Point pronto; That night we got into our house amid silence. No one including my mom and my granny would imagine that I'd date because unlike other village boys I never used to show off. I was a silent premature sinner.

The beddings were made of rags. Rags don't generate noise unlike some ramshackle beds I've witnessed elsewhere. They can easily tell the world of an ongoing process of child making. Mine was a silent one.

In the morning, 🌞 somewhere around 8.00 am my little sister who goes by the name Tsoye (a short form of Nabatsoye) knocks at my door,

"Teni, Teni Teni ... Mama arebanga mbu mlamwa anywetsanga ichai ya amabelee...?"
Translated to, "Teni, Teni, Teni.. mom would like to know whether my inlaw is comfortable with tea made of milk.."

This left me both wondering and wandering in my cubicle.

"Who told these family about my visitor?,
Why and how is mom more concerned about someone she is not aware of her presence?" I kept wondering amid fear.
