Starting December 8, 2023, new wine labeling regulations have come into force in the European Union, introduced by Regulation (EU) 2021/2117. These changes are part of the Common Agricultural Policy and include strict requirements for transparency and digital communication of product information.

The main updates are:

1. Digital labeling: The use of electronic labels (e-labels) is now permitted, allowing producers to provide mandatory information through digital means such as QR codes. This includes the full list of ingredients and the nutritional declaration.

2. QR codes: Wine labels must include a QR code that directs consumers to detailed information about ingredients and nutritional values. The QR code must be placed in the same visual field as other mandatory indications such as the product name, alcohol content, and producer's name.

3. Energy value: This must be displayed on the packaging, using the symbol "E," followed by the corresponding value (e.g., E 370 kJ / 87 Kcal).

4. Ingredients and allergens: If the list of ingredients is provided digitally, substances that cause allergies or intolerances must be clearly mentioned on the label.

5. Wines produced before December 8, 2023: These can be sold until stocks are exhausted, but by June 30, 2024, all wines must be labeled according to the new rules, including the use of QR codes and symbols for returnable packaging (SGR).

These changes are implemented to improve transparency and meet consumer demand for detailed information about the products they consume.

Începând cu 8 decembrie 2023, au intrat în vigoare noi reguli de etichetare a vinurilor în Uniunea Europeană, introduse prin Regulamentul (UE) 2021/2117. Aceste modificări fac parte din politica agricolă comună și includ cerințe stricte de transparență și comunicare digitală a informațiilor despre produs.

Principalele noutăți sunt:

1. Etichetarea digitală: Este permisă utilizarea etichetelor electronice (e-etichete), permițând producătorilor să furnizeze informații obligatorii prin mijloace digitale, cm ar fi coduri QR. Aceasta include lista ingredientelor și declarația nutrițională completă.

2. Codurile QR: Pe etichetele vinurilor trebuie să fie prezent un cod QR care direcționează consumatorii către informații detaliate despre ingrediente și valori nutriționale. Codul QR trebuie să fie plasat în același câmp vizual cu alte indicații obligatorii, cm ar fi denumirea produsului, tăria alcoolică, și numele producătorului.

3. Valoarea energetică: Aceasta trebuie afișată pe ambalaj, utilizând simbolul „E”, urmat de valoarea corespunzătoare (de exemplu, E 370 kJ / 87 Kcal).

4. Ingrediente și alergeni: Dacă lista ingredientelor este oferită digital, substanțele care provoacă alergii sau intoleranțe trebuie să fie clar menționate pe etichetă.

5. Vinuri produse înainte de 8 decembrie 2023: Acestea pot fi comercializate până la epuizarea stocurilor, însă, până la 30 iunie 2024, toate vinurile trebuie să fie etichetate conform noilor reguli, inclusiv utilizarea codurilor QR și a simbolurilor pentru ambalajele returnabile (SGR).

Aceste schimbări sunt implementate pentru a îmbunătăți transparența și a răspunde cererii consumatorilor pentru informații detaliate despre produsele pe care le consumă.
