DWMT la Conac 2024 (by Diud, where's my tune - DWMT), the only arts and music festival in southern Romania, organized by Diud in collaboration with Point, returns in September for its second edition with a line-up full of well-known artists, but also names for the future.

In the lineup, you will also find Paul Tihan, one of the rising names in the Romanian music industry over the past year.

Paul Tihan, an artist from Iași, has evolved from his raw acoustic roots into a modern-day quintet that reflects his thoughts and experiences. The essence of his project transcends any specific musical genre, unfolding as a journey through chapters that reveal life’s subtle layers. Musically, Paul describes his project as indie poetry rock.

In 2024, he released his album "Din noile căderi am să adun tot zborul," which was well-received by both the public and critics, along with a successful release tour across Romania with Andra Andriucă.

DWMT la Conac 2024 (Diud, where's my tune - DWMT), the only arts and music festival in southern Romania, organized by Diud in collaboration with Point, returns in September for its second edition with a line-up full of well-known artists, but also names for the future.

One of the intriguing names is Andra Andriucă, who will have a special set alongside Paul Tihan.

Andra is a newcomer artist from Iași, who released her first album, Liniștea nu se împarte, on February 29th.

She was also a mentee in the Women in Music Romania mentorship program, an initiative by Carina Sava, supported by Raw Music, Watermelon Agency, and Overground Music. The program helps girls and women step forward in the music industry, and Andra has since joined the Women in Music Romania team.

The 7th edition of the Zacusca de Artă Festival, which will take place on September 6th and 7th, 2024, in the picturesque setting of the Medieval Fortress of Târgu Mureș starts today.

DWMT la Conac 2024, the only arts and music festival in southern Romania, organized by Diud in collaboration with Point, returns in September for its second edition with a line-up full of well-known artists, but also names for the future.

One of the rising names is Kadjavsi, the music project created by Nikita Dembinski.

2024 has been another standout year for Kadjavsi, with a spot in the lineup of the Europavox Festival and performances at two major Romanian festivals, Electric Castle and Summer Well Festival. Today, August 25, Karoline Rose, also known as SUN, a French-German artist and creator of the Brutal Pop genre, will perform for the first time at Quantic. This is the perfect opportunity to explore modern music, especially when it sounds like a fusion of Pink and Gojira.

SUN brings a full Brutal Pop concert experience: catchy lyrics, vibrant visuals, wild screams, double pedal drumming, and a striking contrast between her almost angelic appearance and powerful vocals.

Although she only debuted in 2022, SUN has already earned the FAIR Award, France's highest honor for modern music. ”I think this is one of the best shows I have ever attended. While I usually start my articles with some sort of eccentric description or analogy, I need to make it clear that this concert is truly one of the best I have ever seen. The Groovy Bastards opened for The Kryptonite Sparks, but saying they were just an opening act is a huge insult to their electrifying performance. This is why I think it’s appropriate to divide this article into two sections: one about The Groovy Bastards and one about The Kryptonite Sparks.”

Now that the Olympics in France have just concluded, with Romanian athletes performing more than honorably—truly incredibly, given the training conditions in the country—another kind of "Olympics" recently took place in Germany, this time for rock and metal bands.

Just as our athletes in Paris achieved remarkable success, Romania also made an impressive showing in Germany. The band Doomsday Astronaut from Sibiu, representing Romania at this year's Wacken Open Air Metal Battle, secured an extraordinary 4th place out of over 30 bands from around the world.

For 3 days, over 30 artists created a memorable atmosphere across the 24 hectares of the Stirbey Estate. Music, art, and people all felt the unique energy of Summer Well Festival. The last day of the Summer Well festival was the pinnacle of an extraordinary weekend, once again gathering tens of thousands of participants eager to enjoy good music and an unparalleled atmosphere.

STONE, Joker Out, Keane, and Two Door Cinema Club delivered spectacular shows on the Main Stage, leaving the audience in ecstasy.
