Trei Parale is a group founded in 2003 whose members are Florin Iordan, Balabaș Mihai, Pop and Beatrice Iordan. After Bazar, Bazar II and Ciobanul care si-a pierdut oile, the group from Bucharest released their fourth album on Electrecord and also has in their portfolio two soundtracks for the films Kira Kiralina (2014), Aferim (2015) and 2 tracks on the upcoming remake (2024) by Eggers.

After 5 years of work, the group Trei parale launches its last record Romania 100 de minute. The album also marks Electrecord's reappearance on the music market, being the first vinyl (double-LP) produced after 27 years.

"We started working on the present disc in 2018, when Romania celebrated 100 years since the achievement of the Union of lands in which Romanians formed the majority of the population. We then tried to realize in 100 minutes a journey through the sounds of Romania 100 years ago.

Our desire was to have a very diverse program, which would include: all regions of the country, a wide variety of instruments, both peasant and fiddler instruments; various musical formats: doines, songs, game songs, ritual moments. The recordings took place for two years, in our intimate spaces, the living rooms of apartments or country houses, and they carry with them the reverberations of these places" - the group's leader, ethnomusicologist Florin Iordan.

World premiere on Andy Ahmad-Cooke s Radio show in Campbridge of my and Marius Costaches remix for Carl Craig s From Beyond today!

„The sound of Detroit Techno has a large influence from the Afrofuturism of Dub music. In my opinion Carl Craig and The Scientist + King Jammy have approached music the same and managed to innovate and create a fresh new sonic canvas in the music game combining analog and digital techniques.

Just check out Elements 1989–1990 released by Craig under the pseudonyms Psyche and BFC. In 2011, Fact named it one of the 20 greatest ambient albums ever made. This compilation album has a lot in common with Scientist Meets The Space Invaders and Prince Jammy Destroys The Invaders.

Me and Marius of Studio148 had to answer to this remix call and we have managed to twist the original so it fits our new forward thinking industrial dub ambient audio exploration. Enjoy!” Obeah

Carl Craig – original production, synths, drum programming
Marius Costache - production, sound design, mix, master
