PART 3
Just a few weeks ago, we decided to take a break. All our projects were put on hold even the releasing of our upcoming books. We stopped accepting manuscripts from authors for review. It is for the reason that we wanted all our freelancers and staff to enjoy the whole summer. We believe that we deserve to go on the beach, to visit our families from far off places, meet up with our old friends, grab a cup of coffee, or even sing karaoke with our colleagues after doing online activities for the past few months. We encouraged all our workers to have fun! To have an amazing summer vacation!
Nevertheless, as we are working internationally, the schedules of our partners and collaborators don’t coincide with ours. Therefore, we made some exceptions for them.
First, our online LANGUAGE AND CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM will start next month in collaboration with some English private schools outside Romania.
Second, our on-the-job-training program will start next week. We are expecting OJT students from one of the universities in the Philippines next week. Yes, we accept OJT students and interns in the field of Languages, Literature, Translation, Business Management (Marketing especially) and Graphic Designing.
Lastly, we decided to do our first event in Romania this coming August. As we cannot be able to stop everything for 900 ST., we just decided to run the company this whole summer in a fun, interesting, and enjoyable way. With this, we visited Aventura Parc yesterday to give everyone a glimpse of the upcoming event.
We will make sure that this summer will be memorable for everyone who will take part in our undertaking by taking the English Language and Literature into the very heart of nature - not to mention the adventure that you’re going to discover. Plus, we will let you hear the sound of the music through the voice from the other side of the continent. And of course, we will let you experience how “feast” is celebrated in the South East Asia.
900 ST. MOTION PICTURES presents SERAPHINA'S ODE: The Original Soundtrack of SERAPHINA!
SERAPHINA will be an animated film adapted from the book TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH by Catherine Tabequero. Seraphina's Ode portrays the longing of Seraphina to see her father again. The ode shows the love and bravery of a young girl who is willing to do everything to save her father. Instead of reminding herself to be strong in her journey to the ends of the Earth, she sends her comfort to her beloved father by saying, "The foes will never win and we will never die. Bravery and love will never leave our hearts. You have to be strong. I'm coming to see you again."
The most intense part of Seraphina's Ode is when her emotions come to their highest peak and is also given the highest note in the ode. That is, we can hear the lyrics, "My wounded heart. My scarred body. My broken wings and dying soul won't stop me from flying high up to the sky. Please hear my voice tirelessly calling your name." This part shows how passionate and brave the protagonist of the story is.
The lyrics were also written by the author of the book, Catherine Tabequero, and was given a beautiful melody by a Russian music/sound engineer, Petr Dostovalov. Seraphina's Ode music sheet (copyrighted) was given to all the singers who registered for an audition and did their own interpretation of the song.
