San Marzano tomatoes - طماطم سان مارزانو،

تُزرع طماطم سان مارزانو، المشهورة بلونها الأحمر الزاهي وطعمها ورائحتها القوية، في منطقة أجرو سارنيز-نوسيرينو (التي تضم مدينة سان مارزانو سول سارنو) في منطقة كامبانيا. تأتي النكهة المركزة من التربة البركانية الغنية وقلة هطول الأمطار في الصيف مما يساعدها على النضج تدريجياً.
Prized for its bright red color and intense taste and aroma, San Marzano tomatoes are grown in the area of Agro Sarnese-Nocerino (which includes the town of San Marzano sul Sarno) in the region of Campania. The concentrated flavor comes from the rich volcanic soil and scant summer rainfall that help them ripen gradually.
