A year ago, we couldn’t imagine global leaders, the UN, and the ICJ openly challenging Israel's decades of atrocities against Palestinians. Today, the world is speaking up, raising its voice against the occupation and injustice in Gaza and the West Bank. These are positive signs, but action must follow words. Palestinians must unite, build on this momentum, and work toward a free Palestine. The sacrifices in Gaza must not be in vain. Together, we can turn this global outrage into meaningful change.

I’m here at the Memorial Center for the Srebrenica Genocide, a dark reminder of the international community’s failure to protect the innocent.
On July 11, 1995, this UN headquarters, meant to safeguard the people of Srebrenica, tragically became the site of betrayal and loss. Today, history is repeating itself in Gaza.
The international community is once again letting people down. We cannot afford to wait for a day when memorials are built to remember Gaza’s victims. Looking at these images here—graves, victims, and families torn apart—I can’t help but remember the mass graves in Gaza, found at hospitals and other places in Gaza.
The story of Srebrenica is an example for us for what happens when we don’t put an end to Genocide. We must act now. Thank you to the free voices around the world and those within the United Nations pushing for change. Your courage matters.
Together, we must work together to put an end to history repeating itself. Each one of you can make a difference.

We’re proud to launch Humaniti’s Orphan Care Program in Syria, starting with 100 orphans. With your support, inshallah, we aim to reach 700.
