Celebrations have erupted across Gaza after a ceasefire in the war-ravaged territory came into effect on Sunday morning.
The ceasefire was announced more than two hours later than scheduled due to a dispute between Israel and Hamas over naming the captives to be freed under the deal.
Earlier on Sunday, Hamas named three captives it plans to release later in the day.
Qatar's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Majed Al Ansari said: "Regarding reports when the ceasefire will begin in Gaza, we confirm that the names of the 3 hostages to be released today have been handed over to the Israeli side. They are three Israeli citizens, one of whom is of Romanian nationality and the other of British nationality, and thus the ceasefire has begun."
Israel’s cabinet approved the ceasefire on Saturday in a rare session during the Jewish Sabbath, more than two days after mediators Qatar, Egypt and the United States announced the deal. (Photos: Al Jazeera)

Hamas has just handed over to the mediators the names of the three prisoners who will be released, the Palestinian group has announced on Telegram.
Hamas released the names of the three Israeli captives to be freed on the first day of the implementation of the ceasefire deal in Gaza, a Hamas spokesperson said in a post on Telegram.
The move potentially clears the way for the truce to begin after an hours-long delay.
Abu Obeida, spokesman for Hamas’s armed wing the Qassam Brigades, said, “As part of the prisoner exchange deal we decided to release today: Romi Gonen, 24, Emily Damari, 28, and Doron Shtanbar Khair, 31.”

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change has called on sea-goers, fishermen and fishing enthusiasts not to leave fishing nets in the sea, and to work to remove them by all possible means, due to their danger to aquatic life.
The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change has drawn the attention of sea-goers to the fact that leaving fishing gear and nets in the water is considered a violation of Environmental Law, and that this exposes the person to legal accountability, stressing that the patrols of the Beaches and Islands Unit of the Natural Reserves Administration work around the clock.
