His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has met with President of the Republic of Turkiye HE Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in the Kazakh capital, Astana.
They discussed the strategic relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance them. They also exchanged views on all current regional and international issues, especially the developments in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories.

Qatar has chaired the 33rd annual meeting of Directors-General of Civil Defence of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, which was held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
The meeting, chaired by Director General of Civil Defence Maj Gen Hamad Othman Al Duhaimi, discussed ways to benefit from the experiences of member states in operating private firefighting teams, as well as the latest equipment and technologies used in high-rise building fires, the risks associated with climate change and other topics on the agenda.

The Public Works Authority ‘ ’ has announced the implementation of a temporary closure of part of Hazem Al Themaid Street in both directions from the roundabout at its intersection with Street 2234 towards Barga Haleema Street in Al Furoush and Al Kharaitiyat. In coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, the closure will be implemented from Thursday, July 4 until Saturday, July 20 to complete the final asphalt layer of the street, as part of the Roads and Infrastructure Development Project in Al Furoush (Package 1).
During the closure period, Hazem Al Themaid Street users who wish to continue towards Barga Haleema Street can turn right onto Umm Shahrain Street and from there turn left onto Umm Imneefa Street. Those coming from Barga Haleema Street and wishing to continue towards Hazem Al Themaid Street can turn left onto Street 332 and use the internal roads to reach their destinations, as shown in the attached map.

The General Directorate of Civil Defence, in collaboration with the Public Relations Department (”Policeman my Friend” Program), organized a field visit for participants of the summer camp at the Perf Up Center for Sports Performance Development to the Civil Defence Center in The Pearl.

Qatar Amiri Air Forces celebrated graduating several training courses of the training season 2023-2024, with attendance of Staff Major General (Pilot) Jasim bin Mohammed Al Mannai, Commander of Qatar Amiri Air Forces.
The celebration included Air Minor Staff no. (4), officers' Air Advanced no. (6), officers' Air Foundational no. (9) and officers' Human Resources Administration courses.
Many Qatar Armed Forces officers and officers from brotherly countries participated in the courses with the aim of increasing officers' efficiency in order to keep up with the latest developments and updates of the modern air systems.
Several senior Qatar Armed Forces officers attended the ceremony.
