At BIN@PORTO 2024’s Gala, Everythink had the honor of designing the Champion of the Year Awards, recognizing two inspiring women for their impact and dedication to the BIN@ community.

Made from a single block of aluminum, the Champion of the year award trophy embodies five interconnected elements—representing the unity of the five continents and the unique yet collective spirit within BIN@. Ultimately, it’s a tribute to exceptional people, honoring their legacy and celebrating life.

✨Violeta Bulc - she is a pioneer in eco-civilization, focusing on well-being and meaningful human connection.

✨Flávia Guerra - her dedication to and has been instrumental in shaping BIN@, including her leadership of the annual meeting in Minas Gerais in 2022.

On October 22nd, Júlio Martins, Co-Founder and Partner at Everythink, had the honour of moderating a panel discussion at the Lionesa Business Hub during BIN@Porto 2024. The panel, entitled ‘Innovation through Culture, Community and Human Sustainability’, brought together visionary leaders to discuss how culture and community can serve as driving forces for sustainable innovation.

🇺🇸 LeGut wins the 2023 edition of the School of Startups for Researchers, organized by UPTEC. This initiative regularly includes the collaboration of Everythink, through the coordination of a session on design and creative methodologies. This year, we also had the pleasure of being part of the final jury.💡

The School of Startups is a business idea acceleration program, promoted by UPTEC, which aims to support new entrepreneurs with new ideas for business projects related to the arts, sciences, technologies, health and the environment.

From the 10 projects in competition, presented at the Pitch Day, LeGut (food intolerance identification system), Peeking Window (screening software and early diagnosis of blindness) and Rede DIA (artisan support platform) stood out.

Evaluating the proposals were Filipe Castro (U.Porto Inovação), Sérgio Rodrigues (Core Angels Porto), Bernardo Pequito (Beta Capital) and Tiago Gama Rocha (Porto Business School and FEUP) and Júlio Martins (Everythink).

Congratulations to UPTEC for the initiative and to the participants for their commitment and sharing. It is a privilege to be part of the change we want to see in the world!

🇵🇹 LeGut vence a edição 2023 da Escola de Startups para Investigadores, organizada pela UPTEC. Esta iniciativa conta, regularmente, com a colaboração da Everythink, através da coordenação de uma sessão sobre design e metodologias criativas. Este ano, tivemos ainda o privilégio de parte do júri final.💡

A Escola de Startups é um programa de aceleração de ideias de negócio, promovido pela UPTEC, que tem como objetivo apoiar novos empreendedores com novas ideias para projetos empresariais ligados às artes, ciências, tecnologias, saúde e ambiente.

Dos 10 projetos a concurso, apresentados no Pitch Day, destacaram-se a LeGut (sistema de identificação de intolerâncias alimentares), a Peeking Window (software de rastreio e o diagnóstico precoce da cegueira) e a Rede DIA (plataforma de apoio a artesãos).

A avaliar as propostas estiveram Filipe Castro (U.Porto Inovação), Sérgio Rodrigues (Core Angels Porto), Bernardo Pequito (Beta Capital) e Tiago Gama Rocha (Porto Business School e FEUP) e Júlio Martins (Everythink).
