Today I'm going to share with you my vision about trying to create an electronic music project.
Don’t be afraid to be different, to produce differently, or to sound different. Sometimes it feels like you're on the right path, and other times it feels exactly the opposite, like you're on the wrong path, but that’s part of it.
You might be lucky enough to have good progress in just a few years and start playing all over the world, or you might have slower progress and take many years to achieve that, or it might not even happen at all. I often find myself somewhere in between, where it seems like things have finally taken off and then suddenly it feels like you’ve stagnated and disappeared.
It's not easy to deal with that, really, but I hold on to the idea that above all, I love making my music, and I need that process in my life, whether it bears fruit or not.
I believe that what's meant for us is already set aside, whatever it may be.

O Rafyx é um projecto jovem criado pelo toque fino de Rafael Crespo, 31 anos, de Portugal. Criado onde o psytrance é um estilo musical de nicho e, portanto, inacessível para muitos, teve que enfrentar um desafio difícil para conhecer os milhões de rostos da música psicodélica. Esta jornada de 6 anos de auto-aprendizagem, viajar, criar conexões e explorar a produção musical, o levou a participar no projeto da Reversible Records em 2017. Sua faixa de estreia "Before Drop" - incluída no VA "Another World" - é energética, temperada por harmonias edificantes e sons vibrantes ácidos.

Rafyx é um projeto que visa criar algo diferente e poderoso. É uma explosão de batidas sexy e hipnóticas, com a fusão de efeitos psicodélicos, eletrizantes e contagiantes que incendiarão as pistas de dança.

Após uma faixa de colaboração com Mono Sapiens, lançada no 24/7 Records, Rafyx está atualmente ocupado com a produção seu novo EP para 2020, que serão lançadas na Reversible Records.

Rafyx is a young project created by the fine touch of Rafael Crespo, 31, from Portugal. Created where psytrance is a niche music style and therefore inaccessible to many, it had to face a difficult challenge to know the millions of faces of psychedelic music. This 6-year journey of self-learning, traveling, making connections and exploring music production led him to participate in the 2017 Reversible Records project. His debut track "Before Drop" - included in VA "Another World" - is energetic, tempered by edifying harmonies and vibrant acid sounds.
