Acreditamos que as características deste projecto asseguram, dentro deste universo, uma estrutura editorial mais abrangente e estruturada porque, tendo evoluído a partir da ideia mais confinada de uma publicação em livro ligada à scopio Magazine - a sua publicação pioneira -, evoluiu para uma ideia mais abrangente de Colecção e de Linha Editorial. No momento em que o treinador lhe pede o documento de identificação para o registar num campeonato nacional, este simples pedido torna-se um problema para Enrique. Entre treinos e preparativos, Enrique irá descobrir que a luta pelos seus sonhos não será só dentro do ringue.

scopio Magazine Architecture, Art and Image is an international academic, open access, peer-reviewed journal, published by the Centre for Studies in Architecture and Urbanism (CEAU) - Research group Architecture, Art and Image (AAI) at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Porto, Portugal (FAUP), in collaboration with ID+ and CETAPS being published by U. The magazine scopio Architecture, Art and Image for Volume 1 had as its thematic cycle ‘Utopia’, inspired by the idea that the transformation of our society will only be possible if we have ambitious visions for the future and propose operational paths, devised in a creative and collaborative way. As Ernst Bloch argued eight decades ago in The Hope Principle, utopias offer visions of a better future and should therefore be seen as part of our reality and not thought of outside of it. In this sense, utopias are illusory images that direct us towards real possibilities and help us build a path towards social transformation.

Scopio is looking for authors that explore photography as a medium capable of communicating spaces and people through diverse imaginaries, cultures, architectures and modes of life. We publish imaginative and impactful visual narratives coming from the universe of Documentary Artistic Photography.
