Na sequência da Resolução do Conselho de Ministros n.º 91/2024, de 24 de julho, a AIMA e a OIM assinaram esta manhã uma adenda ao Acordo-Quadro de Cooperação para a Reinstalação de Pessoas Refugiadas para Portugal, dando assim início a um novo projeto de reinstalação, com atividades previstas até outubro de 2026.

«O mecanismo de proteção internacional constitui sem dúvida uma demonstração de solidariedade humanista, que importa desenvolver e aprofundar, constituindo um objetivo estratégico da AIMA, exemplificado desde já com este protocolo com a OIM», afirmou Pedro Portugal Gaspar, Presidente do Conselho Diretivo da AIMA.

«Depois de muitos meses de incerteza, estamos muito satisfeitos por ver que o reinício das atividades de reinstalação está para breve», afirmou Vasco Malta, Chefe de Missão da OIM Portugal.

🚀 Excited to announce the kickoff of the iNSPIRE project on October 10, 2024!

🌍 The iNSPIRE project aims to foster sustainable and inclusive development across rural areas in Europe. By promoting social wellbeing and supporting vulnerable groups, we’re working towards building stronger, more inclusive communities.

Through awareness campaigns, capacity-building, and hands-on deployment activities, iNSPIRE will focus on social entrepreneurship in 7 diverse pilot territories, ranging from coastal to mountainous regions. We'll also be setting up Smart Village labs, advancing rural governance, and driving policy decisions through E-Democracy and innovative user-based techniques.

Our goal? To ensure every rural citizen has access to high-quality social services and ultimately develop a Rural Social Inclusion Policy Dashboard to track progress and impact.
