First of all, a born DJ is an expert music curator, a voracious researcher of the origin and history of music, transforming this knowledge into a tool to create connections.

In this aspect, Xico Anastasia, from Minas Gerais, Brazil, carries over 20 years of intense investigation of these primitive and fundamental powers that are dance and music, using his intuition, creativity, and sensitivity to put everyone on the dance floor in the same vibrational field.

Now a rising music producer, Xico demonstrates in his tracks a link between musical fantasies supported by organic sounds and a strong interplay between diverse genres.

ALABASTRO:

The Brazilian producer and multi-instrumentalist Tazzio Puccinelli's original project is a live show of copyrighted electronic music. The artist has been making music for more than ten years and has released several independent works, such as the Sunny Haze EP, which is available on all platforms.
At the moment, the artist is putting his work together through DJ sets that focus on researching and mixing new sounds with his musical influences, as well as the production of other artists, partnerships, and his own work.

Carlos Lobo, has been expanding his roots in the underground Brazilian electronic music scene since 2014. In addition to being an artist and performer, he is also the founder of Mana Music Records where he works as a Label Manager and A&R and has also gained recognition as an audio engineer, partnering with several artists in the Brazilian and international scene with mixing and mastering works.

This new release is a percussive-disco version of the song "Oxalá," which was created by music producer Vini Campos (a.k.a LOV.ini). It is a beautiful modern version of a song by the Brazilian musician Moraes Moreira, who is known for putting his own experimental and funny spin on popular music. The original version of "Oxalá" was written by Moreira and Paulo Leminski, a famous Brazilian poet.

This version is a new, relaxing remake with a lot of style and everything we love about Brazilian music.

Vini Campos, also known as LOV.ini, is a DJ, producer, and musician, and one of the people who started the Garage Disco collective in São Paulo, Brazil. Vini is from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and he played the viola with the Young Brazilian Symphonic Orchestra until 2003. After moving to São Paulo in 2004, Vini went back to being a DJ. His upbeat edits focus on Brazilian music, mixing disco sounds with classical and synth influences and switching between nu-disco, house, and African rhythms.

VKY aka Victoria Pardell is a Brazilian DJ and music producer who started her career in 2015 by playing at small and midsize parties in Brazil.

This new version created by music producer Gustavo Caram together with producer Lezoman presents a mix of modern rhythms that lives up to the original track.

In this track, the cultural mix and the influences of Berlin's electronic scene meet the experimental rhythms of Brazil. The voice of Berliner artist Kotoe and the beats of Brazilian producer Meraki come together in this cover-style version of one of Brazil's most famous songs.

The remix was inspired by the song "Tic Tic Tac", a composition by Braulino Lima that became better known when it was released by the Amazonian group Carrapicho, becoming the number one hit in various parts of the world in 1996.

_Kotoe: Kotoe Kaschmir
She was born in Japan, spent a great part of her life in Brazil and currently lives in Berlin. The cultural mix and the influences from the Berliner electronic scene are the result of her musical work where she takes textures from the Asiatic culture, South American sounds and mixes with dark beats and her own voice.

Her arrival in Berlin in 2015 made her fell in love with electronic music and to get involved and active in several collectives. Kotoe already presented herself in countries as: Japan, Chile, Germany, Croatia, Austria, Portugal and she was included in line ups from festivals such as Garbicz, Katzensprung, Moyn Moyn, Artlake and Melt.

_Meraki: Meraki
Pedro Sugiura was born in Brazil and has his musical base inspired by the rich diversity of rhythms from his continent, always seeking to transmit this energy to the dance floors. Currently living in Amsterdam, Meraki has a unique identity and a very energetic sound.

Gustavo Fortunato is a Brazilian DJ and music producer from São Paulo. Rock, drum n' bass, dub, dubstep, and boom-bap have all been incorporated into the artist's style. He now dabbles in organic house and downtempo edits of Brazilian music, as well as dark disco, micro house, and other musical genres.

In this track, the cultural mix and the influences of Berlin's electronic scene meet the experimental rhythms of Brazil. The voice of Berliner artist Kotoe and the beats of Brazilian producer Meraki come together in this cover-style version of one of Brazil's most famous songs.

The remix was inspired by the song "Tic Tic Tac", a composition by Braulino Lima that became better known when it was released by the Amazonian group Carrapicho, becoming the number one hit in various parts of the world in 1996.

__The Artists:

_Kotoe:
She was born in Japan, spent a great part of her life in Brazil and currently lives in Berlin. The cultural mix and the influences from the Berliner electronic scene are the result of her musical work where she takes textures from the Asiatic culture, South American sounds and mixes with dark beats and her own voice.

Her arrival in Berlin in 2015 made her fell in love with electronic music and to get involved and active in several collectives. Kotoe already presented herself in countries as: Japan, Chile, Germany, Croatia, Austria, Portugal and she was included in line ups from festivals such as Garbicz, Katzensprung, Moyn Moyn, Artlake and Melt.

_Meraki:
Pedro Sugiura was born in Brazil and has his musical base inspired by the rich diversity of rhythms from his continent, always seeking to transmit this energy to the dance floors. Currently living in Amsterdam, Meraki has a unique identity and a very energetic sound.
