Morning everyone! IT’S RELEASE DAY! We open up 2025 with our label manager and his new EP EXT038 - “Saudade das Raves a que Não Fui...” (loosely translatable to “Lost Rave Nostalgia”). Summoning the golden-age of Rave culture in the early 90’s, when forward-thinking sounds and free parties tore down boundaries of class, culture and identity. In this release Diogo channels these rave dreams of communal cultural resistance, and his own desires to somehow have been a part of it all...
 Release is already up at all streaming platforms, as it is available for purchase on our Bandcamp page. Check the link in bio.

On the following days we will also have new merch dropping!

Ok guys, we’ve got news! It’s January and Diogo’s record EXT038 - “Saudade das Raves a que Não Fui…” is just around the corner. To celebrate it, we are making ONLY 10 Dubplates that include two of tracks from the EP: “Londres Chama” and “Danos Menores”. If you want to grab one, hurry into our DMs and order a copy! Last post of the year and time for some retrospective.. It is really hard to manage a label these days… With the democratisation of the means of production, tools tools to make music are now (and justly!) accessible to most people. And so did distribution, promotion, awareness… With that came the ubiquitous and unbearable weight of streaming platforms that crush all hopes of independent labels making any profit with their releases. With loads of sick music is being sent every day, with media outlets unable to do make proper critiques besides retweeting press releases, and with all of us having to perform all kind of tricks to fight for some crumbles on the spotlight of this attention economy… Frustrations pile up… Music is no longer and industry. It’s charity. You really have to trust your vision and be willing to give it all for free because no financial return may be available. It has been a 13 year run for us and to be honest, we start to feel a bit worn down.

With that said and purged, we want to step in 2025 with light spirit and sunshine lighting up or faces. We have big plans for the year to come, with more music than ever, more collaborations, more friends, more connections, more exposure and new stages and formats!

Here’s the highlights of what 2024 meant for us:

- It was the best year for us so far, with more plays and sales ever and also the year we were closer to shut the whole thing down.
- We put out more music than ever, with 9 releases, 3 of which on physical formats.
- We released more music from international artists than ever before.
- We released less vinyl, and more digitally.
- We organised less parties.
- We had Conhecido João and Terzi playing at major festivals.
- We started our Extendes Mix series to connect to younger upcoming artists all around the world.
- We secured and nurtured relationships with old and new clubs that understand our vision, and dig our sound.
- We collaborated with Lovers & Lollypops for a killer joint release.
- We did some radio shows and streamings to share our wacky vibezzzz…

Oh, oh oh! So you may have thought that FABZ would be our last release of 2024… But no!

Right before Christmas, Diogo teams up with the elusive DJ Doggo, for the release of a spicy combo of another two edits of Baile Funk hits! DJ Doggo makes his take on the latest Christmas hit, swinging those beats into his UKG signature vibe, while Diogo fine tunes another of his longtime favourites giving a straight forward club treatment to an ultimate Baile Funk Classic!

And after a great party at , Fabz EP EXT037 - “How It Feels/Coming Home ft. The F. Libra” is officially out in all major platforms and ready to go straight to your Best of 2024 charts!

It consists of two simple tracks. “How It Feels” is a house roller, driven by a very “deep” bass, which develops around some vocal hooks. “Coming Home” is an R’n’B hit, which combines a ravy and breakbeat aesthetic with the sensitivity of The F Libra’s lyrics, in a style that may remind us of some George Rilley songs. The remixes are handled by Diogo and Alvva, the producer and DJ born in the Basque Country and based in Barcelona.

Last but not least… JUNTA! O Bernardo vem de Braga é uma pessoa dotada de uma sensibilidade particular! Para além de ter um gosto irrepreensível (que podem comprovar na mix que fez, no final de Maio, para a nossa série Extendes Mix!), é também um doce de pessoa, que faz isto pelas razões certas! Foi por isso também que, desde o ínicio de Novembro, começou a trabalhar connosco e é agora parte integrante do núcleo duro da Extended Records, encarregue de questões ligadas à assessoria de imprensa! Sendo para nós um dos nomes fortes de uma nova geração, queremos muito apoiar e promover o trabalho dele enquanto DJ. Continuando a nossa apresentação para o evento de AMANHÃ , quinta-feira dia 12, no LUX Frágil… Bem, o Diogo dispensa apresentações. “Timoneiro desse barco à deriva chamado Extended Records”, como diz o texto, é ele o responsável pela gestão e direção que tem vindo a ser tomada pela nossa editora, bem como um dos nossos artistas mais prolíferos! Já o recém chegado Fabz, é realmente o pretexto que nos leva a pôr de pé toda esta noite, devido ao seu novo EP EXT037 - “How It Feels / Coming Home ft. The F. Libra” que será lançado já esta sexta-feira, dia 13 de Dezembro. Não sendo de todo um novato, esta é a sua estreia no piso de baixo do LUX Frágil. Dos dois, esperem breaks, baixos carregados, groove e cenas soulful de influência UK e Bass Global. Ok, vamos começar pelo fim. ALVVA é uma produtora e DJ nascida no País Basco e radicada em Barcelona, residente do mítico clube Razzmatazz. As suas produções ligam os pontos entre diferentes influências: desde UK Bass, House, UK Garage, Breaks e todo o tipo de derivados. Demonstra um grande amor por graves pesados, canalizando ritmos percussivos e groovy e alta pressão no sistema de som! Com temas assinados em editoras como a Supervision (FR), MAREO (SP), Promesses (FR) ou Warehouse Rave (UK), e com uma remix soberba a encerrar o EP de FABZ, terá também a honra de fechar as hostilidades da pista da DISCO do Lux Frágil, esta quinta-feira, das 04h30 até ao final!  Venham juntar-se a nós para uma noite de grande maluqueira!

And to celebrate Fabz EP, this Thursday, the 12th of December, we are taking over the mothership at LUX Frágil, with Extended Records djs spread across all floors!

At the Disco, Diogo and Fabz invite the Basque born, and Barcelona based, DJ and producer Alvva, responsible by a killer remix on the EP.

Meanwhile at the BAR, Bernardo aka Junta, takes over the booth at his debut at Lux Frágil. Expect sampled breaks, heavy basses, swinged drums and a lot of groove and UK vibes!

A not so common club night in Lisbon, but certainly fun and wild, as it would be expected from the whacky Extended crew! Come celebrate and show you support! 👀

Next on Extended Records the amazing FABZ ( ) w/ EXT037 - “How It Feels/Coming Home ft. The F Libra” !!! ❤️‍🔥🥵🔥  We met FABZ at when he had a residence there (2019 perhaps?). He showed us some beats and we were blown away by the way it resonated with us. Since then, doors were soon open for him to show us his material whenever he wanted. Years passed, and this so-called material was missing… Until, somewhere at the end of 2023, we were struck by some fiery demos, one of them with the most incredible
vocalist - The F Libra (.f.libra ).

FABZ’s debut EP on Extended Records consists of two simple tracks. “How It Feels” is a house roller and “Coming Home” is an R’n’B hit, which combines a ravy and breakbeat aesthetic with the sensitivity of The F Libra’s lyrics. It comes with two remixes, one done in-house by Diogo ( ) and the other one by ALVVA (.alvva ) , the producer and DJ born in the Basque Country and based in Barcelona, resident of the mythical .
