Born on October 11, 1990, on the picturesque Madeira Island, Paulo Rúben, artistically known as Paul Reuben, carries with him a musical heritage that traces back to the roots of his family. From an early age, the pulsating sound of mixing was a constant presence in his life, thanks to his father, a DJ who transformed the family's abandoned house into a haven for lively gatherings. His uncle, DJ Alex, joined the madness, turning the family environment into an underground disco, immersed in a musical atmosphere that would shape Paul Reuben's future.
Although it came to an end due to its illegality, the musical journey persisted in weddings and similar events, shaping the sonic atmosphere that accompanied him since childhood. The music bug slept but not for long.
The turning point came in 2009 when Paul Reuben had his first opportunity to perform at the prestigious "KOOL KLUB KAFE." This experience triggered a series of performances at notable events such as "MEGA MATINÉ" and various parties for friends. In 2010, he committed seriously to his passion, completing the DJ and Music Production course at New Generation Academy, even foregoing a driver's license for the sake of his dream.
The year 2011 marked his official debut at "MOLHE," a club that would become a springboard for his ascent. Quickly, he earned the title of Resident DJ at "CACTOS - PUB & DISCO" and participated in both private and non-private events, solidifying his presence in the local music scene. His participation in the 2017 "aqui e acolá" festival and the unforgettable sunsets at Praia dos Anjos expanded his reach, with his DJ sets transcending borders and echoing on national and international radios.
The musical genres explored by Paul Reuben reflect his broad sonic palette, ranging from chill, deep, tech, Latin, and Afro house to melodic and techno. Each beat, each melody, elevates his vibe to the peak, providing a unique auditory experience.
