An easy tool head ventilation upgrade for the Bambu Lab P1S and X1C! 🚀
Heat creep can be a sneaky issue in 3D printing, but proper ventilation can help avoid it. I printed this upgrade using Spectrum ASA after noticing other materials like PETG weren’t quite up to the job—though PETG could work for lower-temp applications. ASA has held up really well for me, and I’d highly recommend giving it a shot for durability.

Have you ever tried Anycubic filament? I just got my hands on their regular purple PLA, and this is my first time using their brand! It’s closer to lilac—softer than a deep or bold purple—but still looks great on prints. I included a small test print in this video to see how it performs, and I’m impressed with the results! There’s nothing like peeling fresh keychains off the build plate! Just finished printing these custom-designed keychains on my Bambu Lab X1C using Elegoo PLA White, Elegoo Rapid PLA Plus. And the striking Winkle PLA Blue Steel from @corexy.pt . The colors and detail are incredible, and that peel is pure satisfaction. Couldn’t be happier with how they turned out!
