Graphix came to clash! 💥

Thanks for everyone that participate this last Saturday. We are very happy to have finished this year edition with a massive attendance in the workshops, talks, visuals and music acts. Also we had 8 new posters to show at the exhibition, it was awesome to see them live!

For this year edition thanks specially to Mark Angelo (Spiral Tribe/SP23) to have given us the possibility to create this event with him and for his workshops that got us so inspired. Also for the co-creation with Telmo Racha (Kamp.Artcore) and Tiago Rosário (VEIA) for this year edition at ADAO, they got the chance showcase their own skills in both visuals and growing the artistic part of a world we love. Also thanks for the team of people and artists, both visual and musical, that helped us build this event. We will continue this and grow!

DJ Mee_K é o mestre da grelha e teve nesta triologia de paródia rave-popular a assar ensardinhadas, sardanas e bifardinhas para o nosso povão, a representar em grande o Z3´!!!

Graphix Clash first day was a blast! 💥

We started the day setting up a really cool exhibition of the last editions posters of Graphix Clash, also adding to that we had more then 100 oldschool flyers and posters borrowed by Kanina which he had collected since 1995!

Followed by a introduction talk with Telmo Racha (Kamp.Artcore) and Mark Angelo (Spiral Tribe), we continued to the posters design workshop that allowed us to know a bit of the workflow of each of this artists and how they create the art that gives shape to much of this scenes party moments. Followed by this great moments we danced and connected with the sounds of Contreiras, VEIA, Kanina Atk and Kamp.Artcore. Also with great thanks to ADAO to be so welcoming to us and our event!

This next Saturday, 22nd much more happening and to be announce very soon on this 2nd day of Graphix Clash!

The Graphix Clash Poster Show is a collection of new posters created by different artists that celebrate and define underground dance music culture, past, present and future.

Just as a ‘Sound Clash’ is the place where enthusiasts can turn up the volume and show off their skills, so ‘Graphix Clash’ is of the same mighty spirit. There are no winners, just an opportunity for each artist to add their creative energy to the event and shout out their visual message to our world-wide community.

The creator and curator of the project is Mark Angelo Harrison, co-founder and graphical artist of the Spiral Tribe Sound System / SP23. Working and curating alongside are VEIA from Gruta / SNS 23 and Telmo Racha aka Kamp.Artcore from Subplate. Also with them there's a crew of local artists to make this the first series of events.

Mark says, ‘The flyers, posters, sleeve-art, décor, tattoos and DIY fashions are an integral part of the culture we love. Our music and its images resonate around the world – a powerful language without words. The music is loud and the graphics silent, but they too carry a signal which embodies the energy of the movement, from the simplest sound system logo or event-publicity to inspiring calls of unity, transition, defiance and rebellion.’

Do coração da Margem Sul, surge Grilocks (), artista com uma mensagem profunda e consciente. Através da sua música, que navega entre o social e o íntimo, ele convida-nos a refletir sobre o mundo.

Começou em 2012 com "Fyah Na Babilónia", um projeto que deu o tom para o que viria a seguir: "Córtex Cerebral" (2015) e "Carisma" (2016), mixtapes que exploraram diferentes facetas da sua arte. Em 2019, finalmente, chegou o seu primeiro álbum de originais, "Nimbus". Cinco anos depois, em 2024, apresenta "Plant'Art", a sua mais recente obra.

No Versátil, GriLocks prepara-se para apresentar o seu novo álbum e mostrar porque é um dos filhos prodígios de Almada. Acompanhando-o nesta jornada estará Krayy (), que também trará o seu mais recente trabalho e nos surpreenderá com o seu skill.
