In our studio, Roboto Sound, work is in full swing! In addition to gaming projects, audiobook recordings have started in full force as part of the joint project between kmh media group and Roboto Global. Today, we hosted Mateusz Kwiecień, who spent a productive day with us. We are sure you will enjoy listening to the books read by him!

Choosing the right narrator is extremely important, as their voice will accompany you for many hours. The actor must skillfully convey the atmosphere of the work, captivate and guide you through the entire story, while blending into the background and not dominating the content. This valuable skill is possessed by our voice actors and narrators!

Did you know that the process of creating voice dubbing for video games is full of surprises? One of the most interesting aspects is that voice actors sometimes record their lines without knowing the context of the scene. This means they have to rely solely on their intuition, the director's guidance, and their imagination to convey the emotions and intentions of characters in specific situations. It's a true art that requires immense talent!

Our directors still laugh when they recall recording a dialogue that they assumed took place on a battlefield. The script indicated that the characters were shouting at each other, and the game had a war theme. Later, it turned out that this particular scene was actually set... in a rather noisy elevator.

Czy wiesz, że proces tworzenia dubbingu do gier komputerowych jest pełen niespodzianek? Jednym z ciekawszych aspektów jest to, że aktorzy głosowi niekiedy nagrywają swoje kwestie bez znajomości kontekstu sceny. Oznacza to, że muszą polegać tylko na intuicji i wskazówkach reżysera oraz swojej wyobraźni, aby oddać emocje i intencje postaci znajdujących się w specyficznej sytuacji. To prawdziwa sztuka, która wymaga ogromnego talentu!

Nasi reżyserzy do dziś ze śmiechem wspominają nagrania dialogu, który zgodnie z ich domysłami miał miejsce na polu walki. Ze skryptu wynikało, że bohaterowie krzyczą do siebie, a gra miała tematykę wojenną. Później okazało się, że akurat ta scena rozgrywa się… w dość głośnej windzie.

Did you know that thanks to mobile recording kits, which can be sent by courier to any place in the world, Roboto Sound is able to produce high-quality recordings with actors who are outside of Poland?

This solution is extremely useful in many situations – for example, when after the recording sessions, at a later stage of production, it turns out that additional takes are needed, and the actor has gone on a long vacation, or when the actor lives outside of Poland for a significant part of the year and bringing them to the studio would be too costly. The mobile recording kit and internet access allow for professional recordings even when the actor, director, and producer are in different locations! We first used this modern technology during the pandemic, which allowed us to continue working despite the prevailing sanitary restrictions!

Recently, our equipment traveled to sunny Gran Canaria, as one of the actors decided to spend the winter there. Thanks to modern technology, distance no longer matters!

Mobilny zestaw nagraniowy oraz dostęp do połączenia internetowego pozwalają na profesjonalną realizację nagrań nawet w sytuacji, gdy aktor, reżyser oraz realizator przebywają w różnych miejscach! Skorzystaliśmy z tej nowoczesnej technologii po raz pierwszy w okresie pandemii, co pozwoliło nam na kontynuowanie pracy pomimo obowiązujących restrykcji sanitarnych!

Ostatnio nasz sprzęt odbył podróż na słoneczną Gran Canarię, gdyż właśnie tam jeden z aktorów postanowił przeczekać porę zimową. Dzięki nowoczesnej technologii odległość przestaje mieć znaczenie!
