What does the Subaru logo mean? What's his story?
Subaru was the first auto company to use a Japanese word to create its name. The word Subaru can be translated from Japanese as "unification", as well as the Pleiades, which is a group of six stars in the constellation Ta**us. It is also worth noting that the Subaru logo has always been based on the brand name and represented six stars from the start, although the color palettes and workmanship changed very often. The symbolism of the logo is the visible Pleiades (6 stars), i.e. 6 companies combined into Fuji Heavy Industries, which actually became the mother company of the brand. The blue background serves as a symbolic "sky" and "sea" at the same time. This symbolizes the reflection of stars in the seawater, which makes them more "accessible," as one popular Japanese saying goes about having to set ambitious but achievable goals. When it comes to connecting the stars on a logo in pairs, this means both working with company partners and working with customers.
