Deaf have vote This is fanpage of the "Deaf have vote" project co-financed by the Europe for Citizens Programme of

The main aim of the project is to improve the involvement of the Deaf in the political and social life of their native countries. In line with this aim, the project has been conducted jointly in three countries: Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. In addition, it is of our high importance to raise awareness of the Deaf about the EU objectives and values.

The Arctic Council will host a side event at the COP25 in Madrid, Spain. Themed “All Aboard! Tackling Polar Ocean Acidification”, the lunch-time briefing brings the Council’s knowledge base on the issue to a global arena. A key focus lies on the findings of the Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Programme - AMAP’s Arctic Ocean Acidification Assessment, while also bringing in the expertise of renown international experts:

- Ko Barrett, US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
- Richard Bellerby, East China Normal University, Norwegian Institute for Water Research
- Helen Findlay, Plymouth Marine Laboratory
- Lisa Koperqualuk, Inuit Circumpolar Council Canada
