12 listopada 2023 roku, w Małopolskim Centrum Kultury Sokół, odbędzie się wieczór poświęcony prof. Helenie Łazarskiej, zmarłej w zeszłym roku wybitnej sopranistce i znakomitej pedagog.

WYRÓŻNIENIE w kategorii głosów męskich:

Adrian Janus, baryton, Polska.

Urodzony w 1995 r. w Kielcach.

Ukończył Akademię Muzyczną im. K. Szymanowskiego w Katowicach na Wydziale Wokalno-Aktorskim pod kierunkiem dr hab. Pawła Sobierajskiego, prof. AM.
Występował na festiwalach muzycznych, takich jak: 13. Letni Festiwal Muzyczny w Radziejowicach, 1. Festiwal im. W. Ochmana w Zawierciu czy 28. Międzynarodowy Festiwal Muzyczny im. K. Jamroz w Busku-Zdroju. Ponadto, w Operze Śląskiej w Bytomiu zagrał partię Roberto-Nardo w operze „La finta giardiniera” Mozarta oraz partię Uberto w operze „La serva padrona” Pergolesiego.
Brał także udział z sukcesem w różnych konkursach. M.in.: zdobył I nagrodę na 23. Międzynarodowym Konkursie im. I. Godina we Vrablach na Słowacji (2022) oraz II nagrodę na 8. Ogólnopolskim Konkursie im. K. Jamroz w Busku-Zdroju (2023).

He graduated from the Academy of Music. K. Szymanowski in Katowice at the Faculty of Vocal and Acting under the direction of dr hab. Paweł Sobierajski.
He performed at music festivals, such as the 13th Summer Music Festival in Radziejowice, the 1st W. Ochman Festival in Zawiercie and the 28th International Music Festival them. K. Jamroz in Busko-Zdrój. In addition, at the Silesian Opera in Bytom he played the part of Roberto-Nardo in Mozart's "La finta giardiniera" and the part of Uberto in Pergolesi's "La serva padrona".
He also successfully participated in various competitions. Among others: he won the 1st prize at the 23rd International I. Godin in Vrable, Slovakia (2022) and second prize at the 8th National Competition named after K. Jamroz in Busko-Zdrój (2023).

She graduated of bachelor's studies at the University of Music of Fryderyk Chopin, a branch in Białystok, at the Faculty of Instrumental and Pedagogical Studies in the field of Vocal Studies, in the class of prof. dr hab. Adam Zdunikowski.
Currently she is a student of master's studies at the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz at the Faculty of Vocal and Acting in the field of Vocal Studies in the class of prof. dr hab. Hanna Michalak and dr Anna Wilk.

Stopień magistra uzyskał w Nantong University pod okiem prof. Yanjun oraz �w Conservatorio Statale di Musica im. Giuseppe Verdiego w Turynie w klasie �prof. Silvany Silbano. Obecnie doskonali swe umiejętności na Uniwersytecie �Muzycznym F. Chopina w Warszawie w klasie prof. Doroty Radomskiej.
Brał udział w licznych koncertach, m.in. w Nantong Gengsu Theater w Chinach (2017 �i 2018), Théâtre 20 w Montrealu (2019), w Brandizzo we Włoszech (2020) oraz �w koncercie zorganizowanym przez Uniwersytet w Turynie (2022). Został zaproszony �do udziału w projekcie Teresy Bellòe „L'Italia incontra la Cina” (2019).
Brał udział w wielu konkursach, gdzie był dostrzeżony. Zdobył m.in. nadzwyczajną nagrodę w Nantong University Student Talent Competition w Nantong (2015), �II miejsce w pierwszej edycji China-Russia Cup International Vocal Competition (2016), �I miejsce w Hong Kong International Vocal Music Open Competition (2017) oraz �III miejsce w 2. edycji Jiangsu Vocal Competition for College Students w Jiangsu (2018). W minionym roku w Montrealu wygrał konkurs Young Artist Program, co dało �mu przepustkę do Palermo Opera House we Włoszech, by w 2024 roku wziąć udział �w Sicily Music Festival.

SECOND AWARD in the category of male voices:

Liang Wei, tenor, China

Born in 1995, Jiang Su.

He obtained his master's degree at Nantong University under the supervision of prof. Yanjun and at the Conservatorio Statale di Musica im. Giuseppe Verdi in Turin in the class of prof. Silvana Silbano. Currently, he is improving his skills at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the class of prof. Dorota Radomska.
He took part in numerous concerts, e.g. in Nantong Gengsu Theater in China (2017 and 2018), Théâtre 20 in Montreal (2019), in Brandizzo in Italy (2020) and in a concert organized by the University of Turin (2022). He was invited to participate in Teresa Bellòe's project "L'Italia incontra la Cina" (2019).
He took part in many competitions where he was noticed. He won, among others extraordinary prize in the Nantong University Student Talent Competition in Nantong (2015), 2nd place in the first edition of the China-Russia Cup International Vocal Competition (2016), 1st place in the Hong Kong International Vocal Music Open Competition (2017) and 3rd place in the 2nd edition Jiangsu Vocal Competition for College Students in Jiangsu (2018). Last year, in Montreal, he won the Young Artist Program competition, which gave him a pass to the Palermo Opera House in Italy, to take part in the Sicily Music Festival in 2024.

Ukończył studia na Central South University Teng Shuping, a następnie kontynuował naukę w Conservatorio di Musica im. Giuseppe Verdiego di Milano pod kierunkiem Adeliny Scarabelli, a następnie w Luciano Pavarotti Municipal Theater Academy of Modena. Obecnie kontynuuje naukę na Uniwersytecie Muzycznym Fryderyka Chopina w Warszawie pod kierunkiem Artura Stefanowicza.
Występował w wielu operach, w tym jako Giorgio Germont w operze „La Traviata” Verdiego, Belcore w operze „Napój miłosny” Donizettiego, Książę Yamadori w operze „Madama Butterfly” Pucciniego, Silvano w operze „Bal maskowy” Verdiego. Wkrótce wystąpi jako Schaunard w operze „Cyganeria” Pucciniego w Padova Teatro Torresino we Włoszech.
W 2022 roku brał udział w licznych koncertach m.in. w Pavarotti-Freni Municipal Theater w Modenie, Włochy; w Teatro San Teodoro w Cantù, Włoszech, w Teatro Ciro Pinsuti w Sinalungo, Włochy oraz w Nicei, Francja.

Born in 1996. Shandong.

Urodzona w 1993 r. w Seulu.

Studiowała na Yonsei University w Seulu, gdzie uzyskała dyplom licencjacki w klasie prof. Kyunghye La. Następnie kontynuowała swoją edukację na Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst w Wiedniu, gdzie zdobyła tytuł magistra, a jej nauczycielami byli prof. Krassimira Stoyanova i dyrygent prof. Peter Marschick. Obecnie studiuje podyplomowo w Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst w Wiedniu, gdzie rozwija swoje umiejętności wokalne pod okiem prof. Danieli Fally.
Ma już na swoim koncie wiele sukcesów scenicznych. Wcieliła się w rolę Musetty w operze „Cyganeria” Pucciniego, Seul (2014) i w partii Zuzanny w operze „Wesele Figara” Mozarta, Seul (2015). Wystąpiła na zakończenie kursu mistrzowskiego podczas koncertu galowego, Hanower (2016). Zagrała również partię Zerbinetty w operze „Ariadna na Naxos” Straussa, Wiedeń (2021) i Królowej Nocy w operze „Czarodziejski flet” Mozarta, Staatstheater Berndorf, Austria (2022). Ponadto, pojawiła się na Verbier Festival, gdzie zagrała rolę Piaskowego Ludka w operze „Jaś i Małgosia” Humperdincka.
Jest zdobywczynią I nagród w konkursach w Korei Południowej: Suri Concours (2017) oraz w Sungjung Music Concours (2017), Music education Journal oraz Umjeonghang Singing Competition (2017) oraz w International Vocal Competition zorganizowanym przez Premiere Opera Foundation w Nowym Jorku (2021). Otrzymała także m.in. II nagrodę w konkursie Korea National Opera (2017).

Currently, she is a post-graduate student at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna, where she develops his vocal skills under the supervision of prof. Daniela Fally.
She has already had many stage successes. She played the role of Musetta in Puccini's La bohème, Seoul (2014) and in the role of Susanna in Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, Seoul (2015). She performed at the end of the masterclass during the gala concert, Hannover (2016). She also played the part of Zerbinetta in Strauss' Ariadne on Naxos, Vienna (2021) and Queen of the Night in Mozart's The Magic Flute, Staatstheater Berndorf, Austria (2022). In addition, she appeared at the Verbier Festival, where she played the role of Sandman in the opera "Hansel and Gretel" by Humperdinck.
She is the winner of 1st prizes in competitions in South Korea: Suri Concours (2017) and in Sungjung Music Concours (2017), Music education Journal and Umjeonghang Singing Competition (2017) and in the International Vocal Competition organized by the Premiere Opera Foundation in New York (2021) . She also received 2nd prize in the Korea National Opera competition (2017).

Natomiast II miejsca zdobyła w: Dong-A Music Competition (2015) i w Seoul-Belvedere Singing Competition (2015).
W sezonie 2023/24 wystąpi jako Gilda w operze „Rigoletto” Verdiego, w Opera på Skäret w Szwecji; a obecnie, w sezonie 2022/23, możemy ją podziwiać jako Rozynę w „Cyruliku sewilskim” Rossiniego, w Operze w Daegu.

Samuel Youn, as well as a scholarship holder of the Foundation: im. R. Wagner and Giovanni Omedeo.

At Theater Magdeburg she played many roles, including: Pamina in The Magic Flute (2022), Niece I in Britten's Peter Grimes (2022); Zerlina in Mozart's Don Giovanni (2022); Gilda in Verdi's "Rigoletto" (2021); Nannetta in Verdi's Falstaff (2021); Servilia in Mozart's "Grace of Titus" (2020/21); Arsena in Strauss' The Gypsy Baron (2020); Norina in Donizetti's Don Pasquale (2018); Queen of the Night in Mozart's The Magic Flute (2018) and Mina in Kálmán's Countess Mariza (2018).
She is a laureate of the Grand Prix at the Sejong&Mail Business News Music Concours (2010) and the first place at the following competitions: Internationaler Musikwettbewerb in Cologne (2017); Korean Voice Competition (2015), Vocal Music Competition of Daegu (2015), Chosun International Music Concours (2014). She won second prizes in the Dong-A Music Competition (2015) and the Seoul-Belvedere Singing Competition (2015).
In the 2023/24 season, she will perform as Gilda in Verdi's Rigoletto at Opera på Skäret in Sweden; and now, in the 2022/23 season, we can admire her as Rosina in Rossini's "The Barber of Seville" at the Opera in Daegu.

Przyszedł czas, żeby przedstawić naszych Laureatów 🥳

LAUREATKA II MIEJSCA w kategorii głosów żeńskich:

Weronika Rabek, mezzosopran, Polska.

ur. w 1994 r. w Gdańsku.

Studiowała śpiew solowy na Akademii Muzycznej im. S. Moniuszki w Gdańsku w klasie dr Anny Fabrello. Następnie kontynuowała swoją edukację na Uniwersytecie Muzycznym F. Chopina w Warszawie, gdzie studiowała muzykę dawną w klasie śpiewu prof. Jadwigi Rappé. Ostatecznie ukończyła studia magisterskie ze śpiewu operowego na Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover, gdzie uczyła się u prof. Marka Rzepki.
Od sezonu 2022/23 jest solistką w operze w Magdeburgu, a w sezonach 2019/20 i 2021/22 była członkinią studia operowego w Staatsoper Hannover. Ponadto występowała w Polsce na festiwalach takich jak: Festiwal W. Lutosławskiego „Łańcuch”, „TRZY-CZTE-RY Konteksty. Kontrasty. Konfrontacje” w Studiu Koncertowym Polskiego Radia w Warszawie, „Wiosna Chórów UW” czy Festiwal „Mundus Cantat” w Sopocie.
Jej umiejętności nie przeszły niezauważone w świecie konkursów muzycznych. Została finalistką Bundeswettbewerb Gesang w Berlinie (2022). Zdobyła także nagrodę specjalną na konkursie P. Salomon-Lindberg „Das Lied” w Berlinie (2019).

Weronika Rabek, mezzo-soprano, Poland.

born in 1994 in Gdańsk.

She studied solo singing at the Academy of Music. S. Moniuszko in Gdańsk in the class of dr Anna Fabrello. Then she continued her education at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where she studied early music in the singing class of prof. Jadwiga Rappe. Finally, she completed her master's studies in opera singing at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover, where she studied with prof. Marek Rzepka.
Since the 2022/23 season, she has been a soloist at the Magdeburg Opera, and in the 2019/20 and 2021/22 seasons she was a member of the opera studio at the Staatsoper Hannover. In addition, she performed in Poland at festivals such as the W. Lutosławski Festival "Łańcuch", "TRZY-CZTE-RY Konteksty. Kontrasty. Konfrontacje” at the Polish Radio Concert Studio in Warsaw, “Spring of Choirs of the University of Warsaw” or the “Mundus Cantat” Festival in Sopot.
Her skills did not go unnoticed in the world of music competitions. She became a finalist of the Bundeswettbewerb Gesang in Berlin (2022). She also won a special prize at the P. Salomon-Lindberg "Das Lied" competition in Berlin (2019).

Karolowi Szafrańcowi udało się przeprowadzić rozmowę z Weroniką Rabek, finalistką Konkursu, tuż po próbach do przesłuchań III etapu. Jak później się okazało, Weronika została Laureatką II nagrody!

Karol Szafrańc managed to talk to Weronika Rabek, the finalist of the Competition, just after rehearsals for the STAGE III auditions. As it turned out later, Weronika became the winner of the second prize!

Zwieńczeniem XX Międzynarodowego Konkursu Sztuki Wokalnej im. Ady Sari był Koncert Laureatów.

Po części oficjalnej, podczas której wręczone zostały wszystkie nagrody (w tym narody specjalne), nastąpiła część artystyczna, w której młodzi artyści zaprezentowali najpiękniejsze arie z udziałem orkiestry Opera Krakowska .

The culmination of the 20th Ada Sari International Vocal Artistry Competition was the Concert of Laureates.

After the official part, during which all the awards were presented (including special awards), there was an artistic part, in which young artists presented the most beautiful arias with the participation of the Opera Krakowska orchestra.

There was no end to gratitude and thanks. Congratulations to all the talented Participants, the wonderful international Jury, the Accompanists, the media, patrons, sponsors and the organizational team, without whom the Competition could not take place!

Everyone could feel at home here ❤️

An emotional concert of the finalists of the 20th Ada Sari International Vocal Artistry Competition behind us!

Participants had the opportunity to present their vocal skills with the accompaniment of the Krakow Opera orchestra, conducted by Maestro Piotr Sułkowski.

Dzisiaj w Opera Krakowska odbyła się pierwsza z dwóch konferencji prasowych. Dyrektor Opery Piotr Sułkowski, dyrektor Małopolskie Centrum Kultury SOKÓŁ Andrzej Zarych oraz przewodnicząca komisji Konkursu Małgorzata Walewska opowiedzieli o tym, co czeka dziś krakowską publiczność.
Spotkanie poprowadziła kierownik Biura Prasowego Konkursu, Agnieszka Malatyńska.

Today, the first of two press conferences took place at the Krakow Opera. The director of the Opera, Piotr Sułkowski, the director of the SOKÓŁ Małopolska Culture Centre Andrzej Zarych, and the President of the Jury, Małgorzata Walewska, talked about what awaits the Krakow audience today.
The meeting was hosted by the head of the Press Office of the Competition, Agnieszka Malatyńska.

Yesterday, the finalists of the Competition started rehearsals for the auditions of STAGE III, which will be held outside Nowy Sącz for the first time.
