Krakow Nights 2024 will start soon. Remember these terms!🌑🌖🌛🌝🌚

The next installment of the series is ahead of us: Krakow Nights. From April to October, you will be able to take advantage of the city's rich cultural offer, presented in a unique form of night events. Museum exhibitions, intimate cinema halls, nooks of theater stages, monastery treasuries and cloisters, as well as concerts, performances, dance shows and poetic meetings - all this will make up this year's series of Krakow Nights. We know the dates of each installment and invite you to co-create the program.

"The Lion King" – a movie with live music!🦁👑

The Film Music Festival in Krakow will present the Walt Disney Animation Studio film "The Lion King" (1994) in a spectacular setting. Hans Zimmer's Oscar-winning score will be performed live by the Beethoven Academy Orchestra and the combined choirs of the Krakow Philharmonic and Pro Musica Mundi. The artists will be led by the renowned conductor Erik Ochsner.

"American Independents" at the 17th Mastercard OFF 🎥

"American Independents" is one of the four permanent sections of the Mastercard OFF CAMERA festival. Together with the "Making the Path" competition, the Polish Feature Films competition and the "Festival Hits" section, it has been the core of the program for several years, constantly attracting new fans of American cinema.

Traditional Rekawka Festival on the Krakus Mound⛰️

It proudly towers over the city, offering everyone who climbs to its top a wonderful panorama. It also attracts sunrise hunters and unique photographic frames. However, the true charm of the Krakus Mound and its unique history can be discovered only once a year - on the first Tuesday after Easter - thanks to the Traditional Rekawka Festival organized at its feet. This year's edition of the event will take place on April 2, at 11.30–18.00.

Spring opening weekend at Bunkier Sztuki🎨🍃

"Bunker for Krakow's inhabitants" - with this slogan, the Bunkier Sztuki Gallery of Contemporary Art communicates that it makes its place of residence available. After opening at Szczepański Square, with the arrival of the delivery, the gallery will redefine its profile and offer a weekend opening in the spring, which will take place on March 22–24 - with a series of workshops, a series of tours and meetings, as well as a very unusual cultural offer.

Krakow celebrates Early Music Day!🎉

Like every year, Krakow is eager to celebrate Early Music Day. The Early Music Day was established in 2013 by the REMA band to promote music from the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque to the public. Early Music Day takes place every year on March 21 - on the anniversary of the birth of Johann Sebastian Bach.

The KTO Theater in Krakow's Podgórze district invites you to performances and workshops for children under the slogan "WHO leaves traces?". Delicate, complex networks of neurons on gilded canvases, created by Natalia Bienek, fascinated by the beauty and possibilities of the human mind, will be on display until April 4 at the Nowa Huta Cultural Center. 30 years ago Steven Spielberg shot "Schindler's List" in Krakow🎬

It has been 30 years since the premiere of "Schindler's List", Steven Spielberg's seven-Oscar-winning work. The production, made in Krakow, has for years remained one of the most important and widely known films relating to war history. On the occasion of the anniversary, the city recalls the circumstances of the preparation and premiere of the film.

A new series of concerts Sinfonietta Cracovia – Elektro Sinfonietta🎵🎼🥁🎺

For several months, the Orchestra of the Royal Capital City of Krakow has been cooperating with the Institute of Culture of the Jagiellonian University, designing, among others, examining the young guide. During these conversations, ideas emerged for how young people could experience live music.
