DJ El Ollie has been djing and collecting music since over 20 years and curating parties in 4 different countries. Growing up in the House and Techno scene of Berlin he early on discovered his love for electronic music, partying in Berlins music defining underground clubs and events of the time. From the world famous E-Werk and Tresor Berlin in their peak time days to legendary places like Cookies in all its incarnations, WMF, Casino, Ostgut, Club der Visionaere, Watergate, the infamous Bar25, KaterHolzig and Katerblau and countless of the most badass and avantgarde International Deejay Gigolo parties in various locations he soaked up the vibe and drew inspiration from all of these places and events. His gipsy spirit eventually made him move to Los Angeles, California from where he was diving into different cultures and partying in LA's most iconic clubs like Les Deux, Bootsie Belows, Avalon, Lure, Vanguard, Sound and LA vibe in Hollywood. From the jungle of Ecuador where he was djing at shamanic retreats and Ayahuasca workshops to the coast of California where in the early days of his 10 year stay in Los Angeles he regularly played at Venice Beach's Bank of Venice, he eventually got a weekly DJ residency at the world famous Viper Room on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood. After over 10 years of living abroad he first moved to Barcelona, Spain before he eventually came to Krakow, Poland where he currently lives while still going back and forth to Berlin connecting with his roots. His sets range from: DeepTech, IndieDance, ShamanHouse, NuDisco, House, Disco, Electro, DarkDisco, TechHouse, DownTempo, Alternative Rock to Minimal Tech mixed in with rare obscuirities!

RITUAL is back!✨💥🪩♠️ I am super excited, this one has been a long time coming and is the result of my experience facilitating countless of Ayahuasca ceremonies in the Andes and the jungle of Ecuador and my mission to create spaces for people to have a transformative experience, trancing out and rockin' out!

I started this event series at my dj residency at the Viper Room 8 years ago in Los Angeles and later brought it to Krakow having had a legendary run at Lastriko two years ago and now we are bringing it back, this time to Chicago Bar! ❤️⚡️🛸

I cannot wait to go full force “ceremony” vibe again with this one. Deep shamanic, hypnotic, cathartic, ceremonial healing journey for anyone with good taste in electronic music!

I wrote my sound engineering diploma work on The Doors and the recording of their first album. They were a huge reason why I ended up living in LA, living in Venice Beach. When I first came to Venice it was like I had lived there before in another lifetime, like a memory, it was like their music had already shown me the vibe of that city. Their spirit was present there everywhere, I felt at home from the first second I stepped out of the taxi from the airport and in the end lived there for almost 10 years in total (with two short breaks, I moved back to LA twice) This interview below right at Sunset Sound recording studio in Hollywood is so dope. They always will be my favorite band. Seeing the surviving members play live at the Whisky A Go Go in the tiny club on Sunset where they started out in the Sixties was the peak concert experience for me in my time living in LA. .
