You know us from delivering the most thrilling and fun-packed VR experiences - in Layers of Fear VR, Blair Witch VR and Green Hell VR. Later this year, you will also step into the boots of Grayson Hunt in the electrifying VR adaptation of Bulletstorm, created together with People Can Fly. But do you know Incuvo’s gamedev-wizards who make this VR magic happen? Allow us to introduce our incredible team! We asked our devs a couple of questions, so you can get to know them better! 🤩

Let’s start with Patryk, our Unreal Engine Programmer. He does a little of everything to allow players to interact with the virtual reality world around them.

❔ What can you say about your team?
💬 I think the very strengths of our team are good communication and teamwork. Any problem that is difficult to deal with alone we try to solve together, so that the end result is the best possible. More than once in my life, whether professional or private, I have met people who were only looking out for their interests. However, here the situation is completely different, as everyone is ready to listen to the difficulties encountered and come to a solution together. This makes me very happy to be part of this team.

❔ What are the biggest challenges of developing VR titles?
💬 In my opinion, the most problematic aspect of VR game development is the combination of interactions familiar to the real world with the dynamics and type of game being developed. On the one hand, the interaction with the virtual world must resemble the behavior we know from the real world. On the other hand, not every game can afford, for example, to make the interactions with objects as complex and advanced as those in the real world, because the dynamics of the game suffer and it may prove too frustrating for the player. I think the key is to maintain a healthy balance between these two aspects so that any player regardless of their level of familiarity with VR games can enjoy the gameplay.
