In size, buffaloes are superior to ordinary bulls, reaching a weight of up to 1-1.2 tons, a body length of up to 3 meters and a height at the withers of up to 2 meters. Some buffaloes have horns like the males, though not as impressive. In the middle of the last century, wild Asian buffalo lived in Malaysia, but now they are no longer there.
