Recently my beloved mother passed away, and her passing and her terminal illness made a deep impact on my life, I came across some depression symptoms that would have led me to a depression state.

I'm 32 and still learning from Quran I wish I had known these 11 truths when I was 18

➡️ Quran is meant to guide you practically through its translation and spiritually through Arabic Text (Both are important)

➡️ Every story in the Quran relates to YOU, if he can do miracles for the people of the past, He can do it for YOU too, people changed but Allah is the same

➡️ The worst sin a man can do is Shirk (Associating partners with Allah). Do not attempt to do shirk even if you have to sacrifice for it (Mentally, emotionally, or physically).

➡️ The biggest truth anyone could say is "There is no God except Allah."

➡️ Allah treats every human in the same way, NO SPECIAL PROTOCOL FOR MUSLIMS in this world.

➡️ Being on the right side matters, being in large numbers does not matter.

➡️ Practicing good Morals and character is the easiest way to please Allah.

➡️ Every human is respectful in the sight of Allah before his death, he waits for repentance till the end.

➡️ Though Allah is loving and Kind (Rahman and Raheem), his accountability is strict on the day of judgment, no excuses would be accepted on the day of reconciliation.

➡️ Salah is not optional, it's compulsory, whether you like it or not, do not leave salah at any cost.

➡️ The one who oppresses, whether it be a Muslim or a non-Muslim, he/she has to bear the consequences himself/herself. YOU are responsible for yourself.

P.S.: I'm glad that I know this today, it's never too late unless you see the angel of death from your eyes (at the time of death). Be wise and choose what's right for you. Jannah or Jahannam, It's your call.

P.P.S: Do try to read the Quran in Urdu or any translation that relates to you, and never hold yourself back from it.

Yes this is coming from an entrepreneur...

As much as I love my work I also love my family...

An entrepreneur should always be EXPRESSIVE...

Love your work UNAPOLOGETICALLY...

and LOVE your FAMILY unapologetically...

Now I'm not talking about balancing things out...

Im saying to prioritise your Work and Family...

I may work late nights but wouldn't miss playing board games at night with my daughter...

I may have Deadlines approaching but i won't stop giving a few laughs while watching movies with my wife...

I may have an important meeting tomorrow but it won't stop me from hearing memorable stories from my parents...

that is how life always works out...

every thing shares its place.

Keep priorities secure and see the magic happen

Red Riding Hood... No More!

Remember when in class the teacher told the story of Red Riding Hood?

A little girl who mistakes a wolf for her grandmother...

The wolf disguise worked...

After gaining her confidence he attacks the little red...

And a hunter, out of nowhere..

Comes and saves the kid...

Pretty enchanting story isn't it?

But let me tell you what the original writer of the story "Charles Perrault" has to say...

Well in his story, things took a different turn...

The wolf attacks and the Red Riding Hood was then no more!

No hunter was there to save her and her grandmother

Dark right?

This goes to show you that people often sugarcoat matters...

The realistic approach makes people fearful of the outcome...

This is the difference between a true entrepreneur and one who is too afraid to take risks and make commitments...

Do not ever sugar-coat the end results while you plan your venture...

Plan while keeping realistic numbers...

Claire Diaz-Ortiz Just handed the Thor's Hammer to me!

As I always say, books can provide you with the tools...

But how to implement, depends upon your niche...

I just finished the book "Social Media Success for Every Brand" by Claire Diaz-Ortiz aka "The woman who got Pope on Twitter."

And believe me, the constructive approach got me!

Here are some takeaways

✅ Mark Cuban won't make you go Viral (Just a joke 😂)
✅ Content is always the king
✅ Get your audience of Engagement Ladder
✅ Evaluate each social media platform, and keep focused on the best.
✅ Who posts matters less, when to post matters the most

The Rabbit Effect

"So be a good little loved rabbit."

If I say this to you, wouldn't you laugh at me?

From saying "Become an Entrepreneur" to "Become a Rabbit"?

Anas has gone completely insane.

You will be amazed to know why I said that...

Well, at Ohio State University research was conducted

2 Groups of Rabbits were experimented with and fed high-cholesterol diets...

Monitoring their health after 2 months...

The researchers found that Group A Rabbit's health deteriorated...

While Group B was 60% healthier than Group A...

Scientists were baffled after the reason was revealed

The reason was that Group A Rabbits were mistreated and food would be thrown at them to eat...

However the feeder of Group B was really nice and kind-hearted to the rabbits, she petted them and talked to them...

The research concluded that the social environment around Group A and Group B was the reason...

The healthier Rabbits were stress-free though they were fed with the same food as that of Group A...

So now on to you guys...

If you want a healthier life, choose the right social environment for you...

If you have a bad social environment, then without a doubt you guys will be the Group A Rabbit...

Your Company needs healthy and happy employees to be productive at the end of the day...

Make their work environment a peaceful one and you'll see drastic improvements...

Complement them, Keep them motivated, and train them and you'll see great results!

So one last piece of advice "Be a good and loved rabbit" and treat others too as "fluffy loving rabbits"

Why I STOPPED relying on Books

Pretty odd statement isn't it?

If I were at your place, frankly I would be intrigued by the statement

Hear me out...

Before we launched Voile I had read many books

✅ Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
✅ Awaken the Giant Within by Tony Robbins
✅ I Can Make You Confident by Dr. McKenna
✅ The $100 Startup by Chris Guillebeau

You name it...

I thought I would be Mufasa to the pride lands...

I believed that I will shake the entire industry by storm in the first few months...

The Tony Robbins in me was shouting...

"Yes, YOU CAN!"

But guess what, time can teach a lot more than books...

Every strategy that I learned from others had failed.

Not because Robert Kiyosaki was wrong...

But because I kept copying their strategy...

While my niche wanted something...I was implying something else.

It was like Adam looking for a watermelon instead of an apple...

Now understand this, books will teach you HOW TO DO, but not teach you WHAT TO DO...

Every Industry has its own moves, you have to apply the strategy according to that rule book,

And time and experience would be the best teacher at "WHAT TO DO"

Though read the books on "HOW TO DO" they hand over you the tools, but won't tell you where to hit that nail,

You can either NAIL it or hit the nail in the coffin!

Have patience, learn the industry, and then plan ahead.

Because of ME Syndrome

"If it weren't for me, this project wouldn't have been a success."

"Business is in profit because of me!"

"We were able to win this strategy because I thought of that!"

These are some of the symptoms of "Because of Me Syndrome"

From a hard-working laborer to a CEO, this problem exists everywhere.

As said coached by my Father (CEO of Voile) Habib Ahmed "A win is a win because of the team."

You win because of your team,

Many people come to me to ask about the Marketing strategies for their brands,

I always suggest to them, that one man can't bear and achieve all,

From labor to CEO, everyone is a part of your success journey.

The Summer Clothing Collection was a success because

✅ The CEO & Directors designed the plan.

✅ The Designer conceived the design.

✅ The weavers, weaved the fabric.

✅ The Stitching Master planned the stitching.

✅ The stitching labor stitched the suit.

✅ The Admin department stocked the inventory.

✅ The Finance department provided the finance for the operations.

✅ The Marketing Department marketed the products

✅ The sales department managed the sales.

Each and every one counts,

No-one is a one-man's show, that is what builds a great and successful company.

Shark Tank India or DragonsDen , has taught the word "Entrepreneur" to the masses.

this is one hell of a difficult word to spell,

and also a difficult status to reach.

But have you ever heard the word "Solopreneur"?

For those who haven't heard it, it means a person who starts his business and does everything by himself.

whereas,

An entrepreneur means a person who manages his business and hires others for work.

An entrepreneur aims to scale his business to the top of the charts, he has an enriched vision and a long-term goal.

For example, an owner/CEO of a design studio company

Whereas a solopreneur does everything on his own and often doesn't aim for scaling.

For example A freelance graphic designer

Instead, he prefers his independence and full control of his business.

So being a Solopreneur is not at all a bad thing, but it values freedom over Scaling

While being an Entrepreneur sets you up to gain enhanced vision and goals, and be ahead in the number game.

Employee Retention Anxiety is one of the most common anxieties that many business owners face

It means that when a business owner is afraid to lose employees

It is actually the hiring process and the training of the employees that leads to this anxiety

The running operations can do have an impact if one employee leaves

But this anxiety can be reduced if proper business structures are followed

1- Hire via agreement and make the employee and yourself firm on the conditions set

2- Never Compromise on the work environment (It plays an important role in employee retention)

3- Have clear goals and visions that resonate between you and your employee.

4- Have strict and proper rules to conduct your operations, if either one breaks the rule, should be held accountable.

5- Recognize that employees have personal responsibilities and commitments outside of work.

I found these traits to be very helpful when it comes to employee retention and smooth business operations.
