Congratulations to the Rawalians fam!
After the long wait of seven years, SHIFA Magazine has finally returned. Our efforts have finally paid off!
The Reveal Ceremony of SHIFA 2020 took place in NTB yesterday. I would especially like to thank our worthy Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Umer (SI) for his tremendous support, Professor Dr Muhammad hanif (Staff Incharge) for his kind supervision and Prof Dr Nadeem Ikram for all his time as well as Team SHIFA and all the Rawalians who submitted their articles - SHIFA 2020 would never have been possible without your efforts.
Now, to mention the efforts of our team individually,
The English Section
Comprising of Seerat-e-Fatimah as the Editor in Chief - for painstakingly ensuring the section had no mistakes at all, from punctuation to layout, thank you for giving your best; and Zoon Naeem, Saba Shafiq, Affan Baig and Abdullah Humayun as the team members - for Saba and Zoon's creative input, Abdullah's valid nonfiction contributions and Affan's efforts in Sports.
The Arts Section
With gulfam Khan as Incharge - for carrying out all the competitions, making sure all we put in was fair, and Azam Awais, for sharing his aesthetic expertise with us, and Rameesa Wajid, as Team member arts for her efforts in our feature interviews.
The Pictorial Section
Sarfraz Khan as incharge and affan Baig & Ahmad Shahroz as team member, I thank you for making sure our memories were captured in the most extraordinary way.
The Urdu Section
Naheed as Incharge and Fahad, as Co-incharge, thank you for making Urdu Section as delightful as you did - it surely is a journey going through the pages.
And last but certainly not the least,
the three people who are behind ensuring we made it to the finish line, without whom all our efforts albeit in full swing, would not have been possible, Adam Butt, Saqlain Ghazanfar & Abdur Rehman Malik; I thank you for your competence; Abdur Rehman for the magazine layout, along with Azam Awais & Fahad Shuaib, your work continues to blow us away. A special mention to Mir Ahmed Talha Mustafa and Arif Aziz for their efforts with our special sections, entrapping nostalgia among the pages; and my juniors, Intezar Mehdi and Umair for their brilliant enthusiasm and vision for the magazine.Mishal Tariq, Waqar Younas, Azhar Abbas, Raza Mehdi, Minhal Fatemah and Nida Nisar were backstage guys from junior lot.
Thank you, all of you! All the days you spent working for this cause is now a part of your alma mater for ever. Hope it brings back fond memories always.
