AAJ (Urdu: روزنامہ آج) is an Urdu language newspaper simultaneously being published from Peshawar, Abbottabad, Islamabad and Karachi since 1989. The newspaper has gained widespread popularity due to the general belief that it has an impartial approach towards the happenings in the province and in the country. tunkhwa. AAJ is published and printed under its parent company A.A.A Publications (Pvt)Ltd. (pronounced: Triple A publications private limited)

A.W.Yousfi (Abdul Wahid Yousafi) a prominent journalist from the province is the founder/owner and chief editor of the newspaper. A.W.Yousafi was also awarded the Pride of Performance in 2008 for his life time contribution to his profession.
