بیشک ہم نے اس (قرآن) کو شبِ قدر میں نازل کیا ہے۔ اور تمہیں کیا معلوم کہ شبِ قدر کیا چیز ہے؟ شبِ قدر ایک ہزار مہینوں سے بھی بہتر ہے۔ اُس میں فرشتے اور رُوح اپنے پروردگار کی اجازت سے ہر کام کے لئے اُترتے ہیں، وہ رات سراپا سلامتی ہے فجر کے طلوع ہونے تک۔
﴿سورۃ القدر﴾

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:
“ابوبکر جنتی ہیں، عمر جنتی ہیں، عثمان جنتی ہیں، علی جنتی ہیں، طلحہ جنتی ہیں، زبیر جنتی ہیں، عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف جنتی ہیں، سعد جنتی ہیں، سعید ( سعید بن زید ) جنتی ہیں اور ابوعبیدہ بن جراح جنتی ہیں (رضی اللہ عنھم اجمعین ) “ ۔
