Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) started protests at 60 different locations of the city including Liaquatabad, Nazimabad, Nagan Chowrangi, Sohrab Goth, Sharah e Faisal, Lasbela Chowk, Civic Centre, and other locations.

A foreign couple, Kowalczyk Jakub Tomasz from Poland and Scantamburlo Marie Elisabeth from France, was robbed while cycling through Sindh's Thatta district in Pakistan. The incident occurred near the Sajawal bypass, where their mobile phones were stolen.

Skardu has been gripped by severe cold, with temperatures plummeting to -15°C in the upper regions and -10°C in the plains due to ongoing snowfall. The area has recorded four inches of snow in the city and up to eight inches in higher altitudes.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department forecasts that snowfall will subside within 24 hours, but temperatures are expected to drop further, intensifying the already harsh cold conditions in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Rawalakot and nearby areas in Azad Kashmir have experienced their first winter rainfall, adding to the chill. The region's minimum temperature has fallen to -3°C, according to the Met Office.
