We can divide SEO into 3 types:
- On-page
- Off-page
- Local
On-page refers to the coding and content on the website that can be optimized, while off-page refers to the external factors and links. It’s a bit like being well groomed.
Search engine is influenced through keywords. These are the phrases/terms used when we search for information on search engines like Google. We get the on-page SEO improved by including relevant keywords in the web content, titles, or even photo descriptions. But to find these relevant and valuable keywords we recommend to use a free tool known as, Google Keyword Planner. This tool should help you identify the famous and relevant keywords for your target audience. Last but not the least, the website must be optimized for speed because we hate to wait for the website to open and might abandone it if takes longer than 7 seconds.
On-page SEO is like dressing to impress, and off-page SEO is like getting a famous/popular friend to introduce you to new group of people.
Google sees it as approval and ranks you higher when other websites link to yours.
One of the greatest ways to build connection and generate traffic from other websites is through guest blogging and building relationships with organizations, influencers and bloggers that are relevant.
One of the most important SEO strategies is to have a local presence: put your business on the map for search engines to know the location of your business.
Google suggests customers nearby relevant businesses. You need to create an account on Google My Business and build your business profile there. It’s quite simple and free, you just need:
- A few pictures
- Working hours
- Business address
- Contact details
