In Islamabad,184,971 urban households revealed concerning plastic waste trends. Nearly half (45%) of households generate 1-2 kg of plastic waste per week, while 41% produce less than 1 kg. Alarmingly, 15% of households produce an excessive 2-5 kg or more of plastic waste weekly.
