This inaugural session of the FACE Film Festival will be showcasing three feature length and several short films both from Pakistan and abroad. The topics and application process for next year’s Face Film Festival will also be announced from this platform. Just as a Film incorporates various disciplines of Art, so does our vision of a Festival incorporating various branches of Art, to rejuvenate
and connect with the Art industry of Pakistan and the world. The FACE Film Festival seeks to promote a humanistic and pluralistic vision of Pakistan and the world through film, by providing an expanding platform for talented filmmakers of alternative films to reach out to their audiences, as well as to producers and donors. We are proud to present in our inaugural year, a program of documentary films. We believe that documentary is truly authentic story-telling and while we will welcome all genres of film and video content in our festival in the coming years, it gives us great pleasure to be able to present authentic Pakistani and international images and voices- as powerful, immediate and personal as music itself. We are also humbled to present films by Pakistan's most revered filmmakers along with exciting new talent, showcasing International Premieres and first screenings in Pakistan.
