تلخ حقیقت ہے مگر خاموش رہنا بھی ایک گناہ ہے

میرے ایک پیارے دوست عابد جو عرصہ دراز سے کراچی میں مقیم تھا ۔ اور گرمیوں کی چھٹیوں پہ گاؤں چلا گیا تھا اس کی ایک اچانک ناگہانی موت کی خبر میں نے فیس بک پہ دیکھا نہ دل کو یقین ا رہا تھا نہ دماغ کو کہ یہ کیسے ہوا
بھائیو یہ اچانک موت اج پہلی بار وادی گو جال میں نہیں ہوا ہے ایک اندازے کے مطابق کچھ سالوں میں یہ 15 جوانوں کی موت ہے جن کی موت کا کوئی نہ تحقیق ہوا نہ ان کی موت کا کوئی سبب ثابت ہوا اور خاموشی سے افسوس کر کے ان کو دفنائے گئے
مگر یہاں سوال یہ ہے کہ اخر کب تک ہم جوانوں کو دفناتے رہیں گے اگر اس میں منشیات کا استعمال ایک بڑا وجہ ہے تو تو کہاں ہیں اینٹی نارکوٹکس کہاں ہیں وہ ادارے کہاں ہیں ہمارے لوکل ادارے کہاں ہیں ہمارے کونسل کب تک انتظار کریں گے اور کتنے جوانوں کی قربانی چاہیے ان کو اج میں بڑے دکھ کے ساتھ یہ یہ لکھ رہا ہوں کی بحیثیت قوم اب ہمیں جاگنا چاہیے ایا اس کے پیچھے کسی فرد کا ہاتھ ہے جو خاموش قاتل بغیر ثبوت کے ہمارے نوجوانوں کو قتل کر رہے ہیں یا اس میں واقعی منشیات کا استعمال ہے شراب تو پورے گلگت بلتستان میں پیا جاتا ہے مگر امن ایسے کبھی نہیں دیکھا ہے کی شراب کی وجہ سے ایسے موت ہو صرف پسو اور گلمت میں کیوں یہ سارا معاملہ ہے اور اج تک تحقیقات کیوں نہیں ہوئی یہ ہے ایک سوال اج معاشرے کا ہر فرد پوچھ رہا ہے مگر اس کا جواب کسی کے پاس نہیں ہے کون دے گا جواب اس کا اخر روکے گا اس قتل کو اس کے لیے ہمیں عملی اقدام اٹھانا پڑے گا ورنہ ہم روز ایسے ہیرے دفناتے رہیں گےاور صرف افسوس اور تعزیت کرتے رہیں گے میری تحریر سے اگر کسی کی دل ازاری ہوئی ہے تو معاف کرنا مگر یہ تلخ حقیقت ہے

"On the second day of Eid, a wonderful get-together event was organized in Karachi to celebrate the Eight Villager Emergency Fund. Two years ago, a group of seniors who are Karachi residents established the Eight Villagers in Ghalipan, Moorkhon, Jamalabad, Gircha, Sertaz, Nazimanad, Sost, and Hussainabad. Their goal was to provide emergency funds for those in need in the Karachi community.

The event was hosted by Chair Saleem Rumi and organized by Nadeem Posh and Jamil Rumi. Many people attended the event to show their support and appreciation for the hard work of the Eight Villagers.

During the event, the organizers of the Eight Villagers awarded tokens of appreciation to those who have helped them in their mission to provide aid to those in need. The seniors who initiated the establishment of the Eight Villagers also expressed their gratitude for the success of the program.

The event was made even more special by the presence of Hunza's famous singer, Fahim, who delighted the audience with his beautiful voice. The local band from Hunza also performed, entertaining the crowd with their amazing music.

Chairman Saleem Rumi expressed his gratitude to everyone who attended the event and thanked the youth for their support in making the Eight Villager Emergency Fund a success. We are proud of the Eight Villagers and their hard work, and we hope that their efforts inspire more people to do good in their communities.

Ghulam Rehaman has done Master degree in Mass Communication from NUML. He is entrepreneur, digital marketing and mentor. He is currently working as CEO and Principal Consultant at NEEDS online Pvt LTD also working as a digital marketing consultant with Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB).
We hope he will do his best effort to the freelancers community to secure a better future for exists and potential of online earners.

They'll cover"Mera Dill ya pukaray aja, and Lahore da pawa", but won't cover the real issues. When it comes to exploiting the natural resources of Gilgit Baltistan, it is declared as an integral part of Pakistan. And when it comes to facilitating the people of the region, GB is declared as a disputed territory. Hypocrisy!

Shamim Jan Insights Ladies Behind the Loom
Most skills relating to traditional art and craft are often found in nooks and corners of the country. However, the internet is democratizing this access, largely promoted by e-commerce engagement. Such platforms also ensure steady work and a regular source of income for artisans. On another level, these platforms ensure that ancient arts do not get relegated to history, but instead become a part of our everyday lives.
Something like this happened in Gilgit Baltistan, Hunza is home to a rich handicraft culture, which has been preserved by the hard work and passion of weavers and artisans across the Region, This small town is rich in culture with beautiful scenery and enjoys 4 season
However, the sector has been on a steady decline. It is seeing an exodus of craftspersons, especially the younger generation, to cities in search of better opportunities, threatening several traditional practices into oblivion.
It was 1998 One of the NGOs KADO working for the advancement of village poverty and Women empowerment, works with rural women at Gulmit and trains us to produce traditional appliqué work on weaving Carpets, Purse, silk stoles, bags, Rugs, light quilts, and Gloves .”
Karakoram Area Development Organisation Trained us in handmade carpet weaving, We were in large numbers at first over 40 plus members mostly in the age bracket of 25 to 60. Then after Training many Left and some got marriage some have other issues some shifted to other places but we a group of 12 members remained at last.
After years of training, we worked for the organization for about Five years. It was 2015 when the organization handover to us.
This offer was not easy for us but we accept the offer, the initial phase was hard As we discussed with each other because we have to pay for everything on our own, The rent, the materials, and for the transport.
These initial phases were harsh but we know how good were we even Our sale was the least because the product is not easily affordable and for a while, some foreigner will visit and get one or two.
We today run the business units on our own taking responsibility for the sales and finance and attending exhibitions of our products across the country.
Totally independent income-wise because of the supplemental money, Today Almadulillah we can afford education for our children, ensure good nutrition and medical care for our family and also join the decision-making process in our own homes and our community’s self-governance.
Our famous products are weaving handmade carpets, decoration pieces, local traditional caps, and handicrafts. The beautiful flowers and Art may please you but the story is it takes us a lot of time and energy Large Carpets take approx 1-2 months to Loom, and Midsize pieces took a good 10-15 days.
Korgahs mission is to double the artisan incomes and build a strong brand over the next years. as a high-impact social enterprise, has empowered ordinary women from impoverished homes building their self-esteem, creating awareness of their responsibilities and rights, helping them break gender barriers, and enabling them to be role models for other women in their society.
Today we make a handsome amount that we have dedicated amount for our sales and Marketing, we are reached by NGOs and Govt agencies to join their cultural events and Shows, on National level we have awards and best piece Many foreign companies, Ambassadors are visiting us at a large number
Our product are pure hand made and long lasting we never have received any complaints or disappointment because we don’t only take it as a business but it’s our responsibility to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. Our goal is to reach the world we want our products to reach and export to the rest of the world.

سوست ہنزہ: عوامی ورکرز پارٹی گوجال کے رہنماہ فرمان بیگ ، ، آصف سخی ، ندیم رومی اور گوہر ایوب اور عاشق علی نے ایک مشترکہ اخباری بیان میں کہا کہ خنجراب بارڈر سوست کے لوگوں کو اُن کی بنیاد حقوق سے دانستہ طور پر اور ایک سوچی سمجھی سازش کے تحت محروم رکھا جارہاہے۔ مقامی لوگوں کے ساتھ تین دہائی سے جاری ناانصافیوں کا سلسلہ اب ختم نہیں کیا گیا تو شدید درعمل سامنے آئے گا۔
شاہرہ قراقرم کے تعمیر کے بعد پاکستان اور چین کے درمیان خنجراب سرحد کے راستے باضابطہ تجارت کا آغاز ہوا تھا۔ تجارتی سرگرمیوں کے غرض سے سرحدی قصبہ سوست میں ریاست پاکستان کی جانب سے مخطلف محکمیوں( پاکستان کسٹمز، امیگریش، ایس سی او، ایف آئی اے، آئی بی، اینٹی نارکوٹکس اور درجن بھر دوسرے وفاقی اور صوبائی محکموں) کے لیے مقامی لوگوں سے روزگار اور کاروباری مواقع کا لالچ دے کر زمین حاصل کیا گیا۔ آج تک جتنے بھی روزگا کے مواقع آئے ہیں مقامی لوگوں کو دانستہ طور پر دور رکھا جاتاہے۔ زمین مالکان اور مقامی لوگوں کی ہر طرح سے حق تلفی کی جاتی ہے۔ یہاں تک کہ مقامی لوگوں کو نچلے درجے کے ملازمت کے بھی اہل نہیں سمجحا جاتا ہے۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ حالہ سال پاکستان کسٹمز میں مختلف اسامیوں کے لیے اشتہار دیا گیاتھا جس کے لیے بڑھی تعداد میں مقامی نوجوانوں نے درخواست جمع کروایا۔ ماضی کی طرح اس بار بھی مقامی لوگوں کو دیوار سے لگایا گیا۔ عوامی ورکرز پارٹی گوجال کے رہنماہوں نے اس عمل کو پُر زور مزمت کرتے ہوے کہا کہ یہ ایک سوچی سمجھی سازش کے تحت خجراب بارڈر کے لوگوں کو ان کے حقوق سے محرم رکھا گیا ہے۔ اسی طرح این ایل سی سوست ڈرائی پورٹ نے کووڈ کے دوران 19 ملازمین کو کمپنی میں خصارے کا بہانہ بنا کر برطرف کیا گیا۔ جن کو کاروبار معمول پر آنے کے بعد بحال کرنے کا وعدہ بھی کیا گیا تھا جو کہ آج تک وفا نہ ہو سکا۔
عوامی ورکز پارٹی کے رہنماوں نے اخباری بیان میں مذید کہا کہ بارڈر کمینٹی کے محرمیوں کا ازالہ نہیں کیا گیا تو اس کے خلاف بھر پور احتجاج کیا جائے گا۔

Language is one of the ways of being connected to your origin. I and my husband belong to two different culture and speak different languages. It was our wish that pareesa should primarily know her native language, follow the beautiful wakhi tradition and play a positive part in the community. Although it was not that easy for us while living mostly in Lahore, one parent Wakhi and one Punjabi.
We feel immensely proud that now she is a fluent Wakhi speaker and conveying a message to the new generation.
