December Monthly Bazm-e-Adab Event at Pakhtunkhwa Model School and College System Kamar Tall Campus: It is with immense pride and joy that we share the highlights of the Monthly Bazm-e-Adab of December 2024, a memorable event that celebrated not only academic achievements but also the literary and spiritual talents of our students. The program was beautifully organized under the supervision of stage Mr. Nadeem Ahmad, whose excellent management added grace to the event. The event was further enriched by our talented students who presented inspiring recitations of the Holy Quran, Naat, and Hamd, adding a spiritual touch to the occasion and making it truly memorable. Their performances reflected their devotion, creativity, and confidence. A big part of our communication is nonverbal. We use gestures, change the pitch of our voices, and pick up certain facial expressions to show how we feel about something. Facial expressions, in particular, speak a lot about our emotional state. In this article, we will discuss how facial expressions accurately represent someone’s emotional state and how we can apply this emotional data to business, marketing, and research. Facial expressions are part of our instinctual body language. They reveal additional, often subtle, information about the things we say — but especially about those we don’t say. Through facial expressions, we manifest our emotional states outwardly, by changing our gaze, smiling, or using other micro-expressions specific to an emotion. Think about how you would typically look when you’re happy versus angry. Most likely, your facial expression when you’re in a good mood includes a wide smile, wrinkles around the eyes, raised cheeks, and lip corners raised diagonally. These expressions are important in your interactions with others because they allow people to pick up on your emotional state and respond appropriately. Reading emotions on people’s faces started as early as Darwin, but Dr. Paul Ekman was one of the first researchers to study universal facial expressions. This approach allows students to touch, feel, participate, discover, reason, deduce and infer facts and ideas in this learning process. It enables them to actively participate in the learning process and discover things for themselves. The students of Pakhtunkhwa Model School and College Khall Campus, class 4th were introduced to helping verb concepts, through the activity based learning approach. Simple experiments in the classroom help them to learn about helping and their correct use in a sentence.
