UET Taxila Students Issues
Message from UET Taxila students.
We also know that Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood announced that all educational institutions can accommodate 1/3 students from remote areas, who have issues related to Internet connectivity, Electricity and financial issues. Regarding this problems, we meet the VC of UET Taxila but he referred us to the district administration saying that all the university hostels are under their control. So we contacted the Assistant commissioner and told him about situations and he clearly told us that you can stay in hostel as per notification issued by government. Instead of this, to provide us hostel facilities, the UET Taxila administration cutoff our hostel electricity and internet connectivity since the last four days and even though they threaten us to leave the hostel immediately otherwise your hostel allotment will be cancelled and even you will be expel from university. We have tried a lot to discuss the problems through dialogues but they don't even ready to discuss the issues.
