Residents and businesses near the ADZU campus should expect loud noise and flashes of lights due to the fireworks display.

MALACAÑANG SUSPENDS WORK, CLASSES ON OCT. 31 STARTING 12NN| Work in government offices and classes at all levels shall be suspended on October 31, 2024 starting 12:00 p.m to provide government employees full opportunity to properly observe traditional AIl Saints' Day and All Souls' Day activities, allow them to travel to and from different regions in the country, and promote domestic tourism.

This is pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 67, series 2024 issued today, Oct. 22 and signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin by the authority of President.

Nonetheless, the memorandum states that agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

Barangay Rio Hondo, Zamboanga City has been officially announced by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) as the winner of the Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) Regional Champion for the Highly Urbanized City category in the entire Region IX.

Region IX is composed of 1,904 Barangays, consisting of one highly urbanized city, four component cities (including the City of Isabela), 67 municipalities.

Today, we stand proud as Barangay Rio Hondo receives the prestigious Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA). The highest Award for Local Government Units pertains to Justice System.🌟
This achievement is a testament to the collective dedication and hard work of our incredible community.
